The catfish was very good. Dressing was very dry and the meat inside was dry. The smothered chicken was very bland. The yams and maccaroni salad was good.
I am from Las Vegas, but I was visiting with family, and they took us here. It was the four of us in our party. One person had a very confusing order. When it was all said and done, the order was mixed up. They just gave us a catfish for our troubles. I definitely would recommend and would go here again.

Service was not good. No one greeted us when we walked in, we were standing reading the menu and no one even bothered to ask if we had questions, if we needed help. If you have a customer service job you should provide at least someone decent customer service. The chicken tastes like it was fried in dirty grease and it was so salty and dry. The stuffing and Mac and cheese were fine but with the main thing on the plate is horrible everything else follows. It was not a pleasant experience. Disappointing!

The food was seasoned to perfection not necessary to add salt pepper or sugar the servers were fantastic the atmosphere was pleasant the surroundings were clean and tidy. The chairs in the inside dining area were extremely uncomfortable, could not easily accommodate the average size, woman or man w/o discomfort

I won’t be harsh in this review, I’m just here to comment on the “banana pudding.” You won’t find any bananas in it—just the typical fake stuff. Call yourself a soul food restaurant, and people are gonna have certain expectations. But ok, I guess most people’s standards are not that high.

Very pricey , the food was ok , I ordered curry chicken , greens and yams. That was my 1st time ordering curry chicken I liked it but way too spicy for me. Now I know what curry chicken tastes like. My husband ordered pulled bbq the house special.He also had greens very spicy and dressing was fine.The atmosphere was nice and the service was nice I ordered white rice on the side they brung it right out!
