I attended Danceteria on the first Friday. DJ EBONY played the best R&B and house music songs. We danced and sang to songs that are not really played alot in Charlotte. I loved the fact that there was not any trap and / or mumble music that sometimes brings an unfavorable crowd. This was strictly for the real grown and mature crowd. I wish the time slot was longer. The food and service was also good. I like how it's remodeled. The decor and technology is great. However, I came there on Saturday night after a memorial service with friends and it was a totally different crowd and music. The smell of weed coming in the door from the patio was very strong on the inside. We all thought they were smoking inside ! Me, my in and out of town friends and family did not like that at all. We didn't stay long because of the weed smell. That brought down the quality in my opinion. Something should be done about that. Everyone doesn't want to be subjected to Marijuana smelling up the place !

I went there for the advertising of beer and what I was wanting was out of order. I like Draft beer and advertising was I think for 5 different drafts and only had like two to choose from. Bud lite modlla and some goose thing. And the music that was playing was so loud that if you wanted to have a conversation with someone else it would be considered yelling ( that was I had to do with the bartender) and some would say rude to others in there trying to dine.

I just feel if y’all gonna automatically apply a 18% gratuity on my bill after 9pm, the service should be efficient & accurate. My server seem like she was too stretched out, our drinks & shots took a while to arrive at the table. One round of shots ordered were NOT reposado as requested and when the finalized bill was given it wasn’t even correctly split. We left earlier than we intended and went elsewhere.
Excellent food, appetizers and drinks were off the chart. Appetizers delicious. Seafood you won't be disappointed, especially the seafood broil. Live music and entertainment offered different nights of the week. Check their schedule to see what they line-up is for the week.

This was my first time going to NC Tavern. We went for food only not to stay. I understand it's a bar. The music was so loud with different conversations going on that I couldn't even think straight and had to leave out. I haven't been to a bar in over 10 years, not my thing. If that's your thing go for it. The bouncers were very polite and such gentlemen. Let's dive into the food. I had Chicken tenders and fries. I have never seen chicken tenders so big in my life. Seasoned to perfection. Not all fries are good but there fries were so delicious. I had to have honey mustard on the side. I don't know if I would go again due to the bar atmosphere. However, I do highly recommend there food. I give credit where credit is due. I don't know who cooked it but keep doing an excellent job. That's why the food gets 5 stars. Being that I had to leave out my Sista stayed to get the food. I'm pretty sure the ladies gave phenomenal service.

Ordered the tavern nachos a few days ago and I have to say they were the most disappointing nachos I ever had :/ everything tasted straight from a can and the nacho chips were thinner than 1-ply toilet paper.

Nobody should eat here the food is terrible and the service is worst the girls at the bar and the waitress all horrible while the owner sits i. the corner and watch this circus go on. I was there a half hour and nobody came to ask what we needed
