We came in on Wednesday for the first time although we heard mixed reviews about place. The grilled shrimp was great, drinks were cheap but delicious, but our server Jasmine was the highlight and the reason we will be coming back. We are of mature age so the crowd was different from we are used to, but Jasmine made us feel super comfortable and like we were the only people in the room. Top tier service, we will be back!

The dj could do better with setting the mood. Staff seems to be a little tense I’m sure it’s because of the crowd they get just isn’t a chill vibe like I expected.

NC Tavern is really trying hard to rebrand itself and they have made significant investments in renovations and interior decor and TVs and lighting. They have increased the servers, but more customer service training is needed. The food is great though I will say that. Overall, I like it and I venture here sometimes. A for effort 👌

WORST SERVICE EVER! It gets worse by the day… &I gave you guys two tries one today and one yesterday. Both time my girl and I sat and waited forever before we were even acknowledged… Ima stick to 1st &Goal! Their service is IMPECCABLE! Ordered oysters 45 mins ago and that was the last time I saw my server. Not to mention they offer hookah CASH ONLY 😒 what a waste.
Loved this place! The food was great. The service was even better. We also loved the atmosphere. It was early on a Monday, so not many patrons. We will definitely be back when we're in town again. Hopefully we can make it on a weekend to catch a different vibe.
