This is an awesome Ethiopian restaurant! The food is delicious. I have tried other Ethiopian restaurants here in Charlotte, and this is by far my favorite. The service was awesome and I love the hospitality of the owners. Their injera is also very much authentic. It is 100% teff and not mixed with a bunch of other flours. I highly recommend!

We had the veggie combo and spiced tea--both very delicious! Splitting one combo was plenty of food for two hungry people, and the variety and flavor of the dishes was delightful. The generous pot of tea was more than the two of us could drink. It's run by very friendly folks, and the prices are quite reasonable. We will certainly be back!

Loved this spot. They were more than hospitable. Coffee and tea were made fresh on the spot. Also I was happy to do a little shopping in the store. My only complaint was that the food was missing some spices/flavors that I was expecting.
This place is amazing! Such good hospitality from one of the owners, Siga, and such wonderful food :) I came here for my birthday and I do not regret it. I highly recommend the veggie combo platter, the Derek beef tibs, and sambusa. The food is super authentic and you get such a good experience. I’m wishing many more years of success for this place because they honestly deserve it ❤️

My husband and I live near Nile restaurant, discovering soon after we relocated to Charlotte. We have now eaten here 8 times, and it is always fantastic. Sigue, one of the owners, treats you like family and cooks everything herself. I highly recommend this small business!
