I want to start off with the positive. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I was not happy with the brisket, although the taste was great. I had so much fat in my 1/2 portion, I was disappointed. I couldn't believe they would serve brisket with that amount of fat (without adding more meat). I felt like I paid for fat. I don't like to complain about food while eating, because of the horror stories associated with complaints. I also don't like the a la carte menu. I feel restaurants are taking advantage of customers with this type of menu. It's so much more expensive than your meat and side combinations. The cost of the brisket was $24, collard greens $9, slaw $4, and drink $14. Total cost of lunch was $55.21 (with tax). This total does not include the gratuity. The price of $20-30 that's posted on the website is for the Meat Only! This is expensive for a barbeque restaurant for LUNCH!!!! I won't go back.

Came to Noble Smoke here in Charlotte for brisket, butter beans, and cornbread. The burnt end of the brisket was flavorful and juicy. The thinly sliced single portion was dry and lukewarm. Brought it to the server’s attention and he immediately remedied it. That was a plus. Phillip was awesome. The butter beans were ok and the cornbread could have been a bit more soft.

Noble Smoke never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The brisket is tender, the ribs fall right off the bone, and the sides taste like real Southern comfort. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the whole place has a great vibe. Every time I come here, it’s a flawless experience. Highly recommend to anyone in Charlotte looking for top-tier barbecue!

The food is absolutely trash. An à la carte menu… whatever. Mac and cheese taste like cheez-it. The brisket isn’t horrible but I’ve definitely had better. My server was phenomenal the establishment itself is very nice. They just need to work on their recipes.

Great ambience, but food was lacking. Our food was cold, barely warm and it was not busy. Maybe because we came 90mins before closing.......I had high expectations as the food in Charlotte had been great until we visited this establishment.

Definitely felt like a gamble when looking for food and quick. Under no circumstance did it disappoint. The sharing plater was perfect to share in a group and the brisket melts in your mouth. As I can not eat pork I cannot speak to any of the pulled pork or ribs but my buddies where fighting for the last bite so it definitely seems worth it! Prices are what you would expect for BBQ. Wine list was pretty well stocked with decent drys. The server we had make excellent recommendations and was overall a chill guy. Definitely coming back!
