Best sanwhiches in Charlotte, I usually get the Italian Stallion or the JRock (Add Jalapeño Bacon) for breakfast I get a sausage egg and cheese phatoman style. Shit slaps every single time 🔥🔥🔥

Literally just pick something random on the menu and order it. I’d bet you love it. I love everything about this place. Breakfast is great, lunch is great, vibes are great, service is great. Oh and the tater tots…wild. I was going to take a picture of my food for this review but I ate it too quickly because it was so good.

WARNING: This is a Restaurant and not a Bodega (though it is self titled as a Bodega).
DO NOT ask for your food Ocky style, as they have never heard of it nor will they make it for you.
DO NOT ask for house cleaners, diapers, cigarettes or scratch offs. They do not offer these items as they are a Restaurant and not a Bodega.
DO NOT inquire with management as to why they call themselves a Bodega if they only offer deli/food/snack services but none of the other features of a properly operating Bodega, as they will shame you and your guests until the end of time.
Follow these rules and your experience will be a decent and pleasant enough dining experience for a restaurant.

I really like this place. Food is great, atmosphere is inviting. Very simple and affordable menu. I had the Reuben - it has pastrami and turkey, on cibata bread with mustard. My husband had the Italian. Bread is delish. Tater tots are nice and crispy.

The restaurant was clean and the customer service was awesome. I had the italian sandwich and it did not disappoint. The meats were fresh as well as the veggies. The next time I'm in Charlotte I will definitely return!!!!

Best spot for sandwiches in town, I've never been disappointed and the daily specials are on point.
Update: granted it's been a while since my wife and I have been able to stop by...the food wasn't the same at all, nor was the atmosphere from when we'd been going here in the past. I'm changing my 5 star to 3 star (I hate leaving bad reviews), I can't recommend this place anymore. Sandwiches used to be toasted, warm and delicious every time, now the same sandwiches we always got were cold and soggy. My wife mentioned that the pickled onions on her sandwich tasted like they were fermented and possibly expired. Half the place looked like it was for storage, just about everything on tap was out. The vibe was totally off. We were going to sit down at the bar and have lunch and a couple of drinks on an early day off from work and changed our order to go. I don't know what has happened to this place, if ownership has changed or people have just lost their excitement, but it's kind of heartbreaking because I really did love this place so much a few years back and would eat there regularly. Whoever's in charge, I think it's really time to reevaluate some things because you totally lost me. Best of luck.
I've been meaning to try this place, so this morning we got The Photoman breakfast sandwich (scrambled with bacon) with some tater tots. They're both super tasty and demolished them very fast. I'm not one to pass up dessert, even for breakfast, so we also got the Butterfinger Stuffed French Toast. Which ALSO was very delicious! I need a nap, but I'm having sweet dreams. I will definitely be back 😀

I will give it 4 stars. But I will suggest you add a bit more meat to the Italian Sandwich to balance out the overbearing sauce.

Restaurantji Recommends
The chicken sandwich was so nasty and so was the j rock. How yall got almost 5 stars the people must not have taste buds. Definitely wouldn’t recommend at all. Also the tomatoes were gross as hell. $30 for some nasty sandwiches is outrageous. The place looked like a dump too.
