I feel like the pasta should come with a side salad or soup . $7+ for bread is crazy. I’m just used to going to restaurants that offer complimentary bread as you wait . My pasta barely came with any “Parmesan” sauce ( completely dry ) & when I ask for some , I get charged $3.50 for it. I’ll just go to Carrabas next time when I’m craving Italian food. The flavor of the food was great though :)Parking: I parked at the ABC store . Every parking spot I saw , I think you have to pay for .

This restaurant gets an F! Why is because of the bar tenders at this place! Shaniqua was the rudest person ever. I was waiting for my order which was from a third-party online order. After the order was placed ot took me 20 minutes to get to the restaurant and still After waiting 20 more minutes the order was still not ready. What madey blood boil was the lack of empathy that these bartenders shown. It was "that's on you if you want to wait or not. So ghetto! It should have been , we apologize we know it's important for you to serve your customer as well by getting their delivery to them in a timely manner. We appreciate your patience. The true heros shine under pressure. They don't have any heros here. They lack empathy, They have no sense if urgency for their online orders and they don't respect the people who delivery these orders. They forget that delivery drivers are customers to and we tell these horror stories on our social media as I will do today. Instead of bye Felicia. It's by Shaniqua. One of the most fake, disingenuous people there

Food not worth the cost nor the $15 required to park to pick my order up. Wanted to try NI after seeing a tweet of somebody loving their shrimp and Caesar salad, but I can’t say I’d come back here.

I was visiting California and my friend from Boston. The food was pretty good but when you tell a bartender that you don't eat meat and they recommend the kale salad that's not a bad thing. However when it arrives full of little pieces of meat, this isn't great menu knowledge. Sitting down at a dirty bar kinda told the story of the service though. I don't think he wanted anyone to sit there. He let us know that the kitchen would be closing in 30 minutes and from that moment forward made us feel extremely rushed. His pour service and bad attitude was something we could overlook. We're industry folks and really try to understand. We've experienced pour service before but the worst is seeing him stand behind the bar eating his meal right in front of us, while we're still eating ours, is extremely rude. When he finished, he never even washed his hands. We couldn't even get a 2nd round of drinks offered until we asked the other bartender. He clearly wanted us out of there but the restaurant was still open with plenty of people still eating.Side note: If you know that a service well hasn't been used, don't pour a guest soda water from this well because you know that the cold plate isn't cold and the beverage is going to be warm and somewhat flat. Especially when you'd just poured me one from the other well that was perfect. Not attempt to add ice to the glass.I know people will say, "make them aware of it in the moment," but the vibe and energy just didn't feel like anyone there at that moment would even care. So we let it ride. I'm originally from Charlotte and visit 4-5 times a year. Can't say this will be on my list of restaurants going forward. Had higher expectations.

My friend took me here for dinner while I was in town and it did not disappoint! You can dress casually, or dress it up for a special occasion. The service was great and made wonderful recommendations. I highly suggest the white garlic bread for a starter and the vodka rigatoni. The food was delicious and we didn't feel rushed. They do validate parking in the attached ramp, but only up to two hours.Vegetarian options: They can make many of these dishes vegetarian friendly.

Great open kitchen concept. Seated promptly. Jade , our waitress, introduced us to the menu, answered all our questions and guided us through an awesome dining experience. Will definitely return when business brings me back to Charlotte.

I ordered the chicken pesto which was underwhelming and came out barely warm. The truffle bread and calamari was good. The parking was not validated for the garage like it says on their site. My husband gave the parking ticket to our waitress. She brought it back and we thought it was validated but it wasn't. We ended up paying the $12 to get out. Overall, we would not return.

Food was great, but unlike all other reviews we didn't think portion sizes were overly generous especially for their prices. Maybe there's a difference in portions from brunch to dinner? The three stars mostly comes from service. We sat for 10+ minutes without being acknowledged and then had to ask for water. Nothing typical was offered or delivered as it was to surrounding tables by other wait staff i.e straws for water, coffee creamer/sugar. Seemed off. I expected better attention to the details considering the ambiance of the restaurant and the prices of the meal. Again, food was enjoyed.

Had a 5 hour layover for a connecting flight in Charlotte and decided to venture into the city for dinner. We were happy to have chosen North Italia! Great spot surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars. The calamari was excellent. The steak Marsala was a massive portion with 4 steaks essentially and the chicken pesto was delicious. I requested crispy chicken. Highly recommend for a great date night. We would be regulars if we lived here!

Food was ok I had been to this place in Phoenix a lot and seems to be a little off here. Bread wasn’t great (in my opinion) and that’s a tell for any restaurant. Limited beer menu but I remember cocktails were good. It was ok.Parking: Again this area can be tough to find cheaper parking at peak times.

We have always really enjoyed North Italia. Overall, it was still a good experience, but the truffle bread was not quite as good as we remembered -bread in bigger chunks and more doughy to eat, than what we remembered. I had a Ceasars salad and that also changed slightly. Instead of more bite-sized lettuce, they gave you entire small leaves, which had to all be cut up before eating, or you would wear half of the dressing on your face. Still enjoyed, but we did notice small changes that were a little frustrating, although we would still recommend overall and would go back.

An excellent place to go for a meal, really delicious Italian food prepared well. I totally enjoyed my Bolognese, their bread, with truffle oil was to die for. Their service was excellent, although there wines are pretty pricey. I would definitely return!

The shrimp scampi was good I would come back just for the shrimp. I would probably just order a shrimp pasta next time. I wasn’t a fan of the tomato sauce and the bread they gave was beyond stale and chewy. Normally you can reheat bread and salvage it but it was so stale my dog struggled to eat it. I was very disappointed by that. The dessert was delicious once i warmed up… All in all I would come back for the shrimp and dessert
