I've been working in Charlotte a week a month for a while. When I'm in town I always start my morning here. I tried a few others, and I love this place. Good Americanos, really wonderful baristas, and a fun atmosphere. Really like this place and the people who work there. :)

This coffee shop is in a food court area. The coffee is decent. I was hoping for something more. The other locations might be better but this one isn’t my favorite. I think the other stores in the market are influencing the quality of this shop of its potential.

AMAZING espresso! I ordered two breve lattes and the coffee is both was amazing, but the half n half in one of the drinks was so insanely thick I couldn’t drink it. If the espresso hadn’t already started working, I would have gone back and asked for a new one. I’m not sure how it’s possible to get half n half that thick, and I’m sure it was just a one-off error, but I saw other negative reviews about the barista who made my drinks so I’m not sure if this is a repeat issue with other customers.

This spot is a home run, atmosphere was relaxed, new, traditional coffee house with baked goods and small plates. The staff was quick and knowledgeable of their menu and offered great recommendations, as this was my first visit.
Their holiday iced coffee was my drink on my first visit, which was out of this world delicious. Added an additional double shot of espresso to help balance any sweetness from the drink and oat-milk option. Plus I love espresso and they offer multiple varieties of espresso for your beverage choice. I also went with a pumpkin muffin, which was oversized and definitely hit the spot for my morning arrival. I picked up a s’mores treat bar as I was headed to golf for my afternoon and thought it would be an excellent snack on the course. I was absolutely correct about the bars appearance and taste, because it definitely hot the spot.
I frequent Hickory, NC often and this is the first time I have visited this establishment, but it will be utilized more often, if not daily during my visits. 100% recommend

Update: the barista informed us if they stopped what they were doing to help us they would have burned the caramel they were working on. At this point our shots were sitting poured for 10 minutes, so when we asked them to remake them, they said, “they’re warm, but fine”. I’m not paying for warm coffee. If they explained there would be a wait, I wouldn’t have cared, but they said nothing the entire time.
The barista took 10 minutes to acknowledge us, started making our drinks and then turned away and started adding butter to this pot for another 10 minutes. Another couple has been waiting in line as our espresso just sits on the machine getting cold. We’ve now been here for 20 minutes and were the only ones here when we got here….btw we’re still here waiting. we were here last weekend and the barista that worked was great, but this person obviously doesn’t care about our time.

Barista was friendly and accommodating! Not a coffee drinker. But they made a well flavored, not too sweet, London Fog and use rishi chai which if you have to use a concentrate is pretty good.

I visit the location in the 7th street market usually on the weekends. I only order the cortado so I can’t comment on the other drinks. I am not a coffee drinker but love a good cortado. The make a decent one and being that it’s an easy 5 minutes walk from condo makes it a no browner. The staff is always so friendly which is a plus. Maybe once I will try something else
