The best part of my day is going to Not Just Coffee and seeing Gabriella and Angeles! The coffee and food is superior to any other shops around town. Garbriella has memorized what I like but also suggest new items that I always end up trying and loving. My favorite items are the freshly baked scones and drip coffee. I highly recommend this coffee shop! The service is incredible.

Love the concept and seating, such a great place to work and sip on some quality coffee. I didn’t love the chobani oat milk they used (too thick for my taste) but the house made caramel syrup was excellent! It’s in a lovely location for walking on the nearby ‘rail trail’ too so I’d gladly stop here again to both snag a coffee and walk the area. Recommended.

Inside Atherton Mill. There is plenty of space for remote work and it's never too loud, even when busy. They don't have "for here" mugs, only "to go" cups. Coffee is decent, Chai is top tier. Dogs aren't allowed.

The oatmeal cookie from Not Just Coffee is the BEST cookie in Charlotte, NC! The cookie has a slight crunch exterior but chewy as you bite into it. It's so good, that I went back for it a few days later.

3 most important aspects of a wonderful coffee shop is the service, the batch brew coffee, and the avacado toast. This place has got it all. Very friendly service reps and comfortable ambiance with plenty of space to sit. The batch coffee (just black, no cream or sugar) has a dark and flavorful taste. Now the avocado toast, I would have to say best I ever had! The toast was perfectly sized to fit a nice bite, the dried tomato bits were excellent, on top of that the pickled onions finished it off. I am thoroughly impressed. Only thing that disappointed me is that they didn't have any stickers for me to apply to my traveling suitcase.

The coffee is really good. However the staff will stare at you without speaking when you walk up to the register. No “hello” or “what can I get you.” I’ve been to this location a few times and every time I feel as though I’m inconveniencing and annoying the employees by asking for a coffee. I always say thank you and either get no response or a “mhm.” It’s just uncomfortable.The Dilworth location is much friendlier.
A quaint stop in a multi-use old mill space! My husband and I stopped originally for food at the Living Kitchen not realizing that Not Just Coffee was inside as well.After our breakfast I wanted a coffee so we stopped by and I ordered a Peppermint Mocha. The person at the counter was wearing a Noah Kahan shirt and I complimented it because I think his music is great! She said thank you but otherwise seemed disinterested.I watched as they made my drink and I’m not sure if it is standard practice, but they free-poured the sauce and syrup into my cup. I know many coffee shops will measure out their flavors either by ounces or pumps for consistency and COGS. This barista put a very small amount of peppermint into the drink and about double the amount of mocha sauce. When I watched them pour the milk after steaming, it seemed like the milk was not aerated enough as it was very watery.Of course, I do not work here and do not know their standards. However, I have visited one of their other locations and had a much more enjoyable experience. I’m not sure if it was because three people ended up in line after my order was placed and their head was elsewhere, but when I visit Not Just Coffee I will be going to a different location.
