I've been going since the early 50's. As good today as ever!
Amazing Italian dishes served in a picturesque atmosphere. Food quality and pricing are great. Service was wonderful. Salad and bread were fresh and tasty. It was a hard choice, but I got the Lasagna Parm. Exquisite.

Will always be a favorite , timeless and classic . The food is on my comfort list. It is always so good and brings back so many memories from my aunts and mother’s kitchen. Be sure to get meatballs , you can take them home and even freeze for later.
Great food and service. Atmosphere was ok.

Such a Charlotte gem! The inside is full of charm from times past. The staff is super sweet and make you feel like family. And the food, ohhhhh the food. Each dish I’ve had is so flavorful. And the portions are HUGE. It’s almost 3 meals. Take home boxes are a must!

Save your money, keep driving. I’m not sure if people do not know what good food is anymore. 4.4 stars. Ha! We were passing through on our way back to Waxhaw and this cute restaurant, with a very nice waitress, had terrible food. Our meal was tasteless. I’m not even sure I had veal. It seemed as if it was in the freezer since 1954. I really thought we might had been in episode of Kitchen Nightmares. We are Italian, and all I wanted was for someone else to cook me a good pasta dish. Maybe their pizza is good, but their Veal Parmigiana was disappointing by far. We are those people that will drive 1hr to eat dinner at a restaurant, if it is worth it. This wasn’t it. Save your $. This was the worse $111 ever spent. McDonald’s would have been better.

I was disappointed with the lasagna that I ordered everything seemed very watery and the portion was small. But I did notice other people in our group had more appetizing looking meals.
I am glad I chose the soup, minestrone. Because the salad only contains lettuce and one tomato wedge with your choice of dressing. Pretty boring if you ask me. The Italian bread that is served is excellent. The butter packets however are cumbersome and annoying. I think they should make a small ramekin of garlic butter to go with the basket of bread. Our waitress was very attentive and we never had to wait for a refill on beverages or anything that we needed. Thank you for a great experience with our whole group

Since the 1950's this restaurant has been top notch in food, service and atmosphere. My go to selection of Veall Barcelona never fails :-)

I judge all other Italian Rst.'s veal parm. by the OPEN KITCHEN and most failed. I first went and had my first Pizza at age 17 . I'M 81 now and had a wonderful lunch there before driving back to Lincolnton.
