This is one of our favorite Asian restaurants for pickup in charlotte. They’re the only place we’ve found good Hong Kong style Asian foods. The duck is oily but very tasty. Duck as a meat is on the fattier side naturally though. It’s worth trying if you’ve never had duck and want a good experience with it. My husband loved it. We all absolutely loved the Hong Kong pork. We can’t go there and not get it. Everything else was solid as well (e.g., rice, dumplings, rolls). We order something from here every time we’re in the area. Fantastic addition to Charlotte. We hope they stay for years to come.

Usually I have a good experience at this place, but they failed in food quality and customer service recently. I ordered the roast duck to go and was so disappointed when I got home that the meat was dry and tasted old like it was reheated. This dish was part of our LNY dinner too , but was embarrassed to even serve it. I called and talked to the manager and he asked for me to come back with the order to show him! What restaurant tells a customer to bring back an order the day after?! You just lost a long time customer and more with this type of customer service.
Hong Kong Pork Char Siu - wonderful! Not too sweet, mild but flavorful, great texture
First of all yes - when you get the cast-iron fried rice, it really is that big of a helping. It’s two containers full! I know that adding the meats added to the portion, but it’s wonderful and it has cheese on it!
I love the way they season and flavor the fried dumplings - my favorite place to get them!
And yes, finally did the full order of Hong Kong Pork Char Siu. It absolutely was worth it! 
Lastly, I really like their yum yum sauce!

Dined here a year ago, the staff was incredibly rude. The manager and chef were the most noted. I decided to try it again today, hoping for a change of heart. It was worse than last time, inedible food from either incredibly salty it was or from how it tasted rotten, I became sick from barely eating any as it was my sisters food. I orded the Phó personally, it also was incredibly gross with the beansprouts tasting spoiled. I would never recommend nobody to eat here. The food tasted horrible and looked unappetizing.

One of our favorite go to places. The staff is great, everything we have tried from the menu so far has been amazing. Food is always served hot and surprisingly quick. The menu has lots to offer, prices are very fair for the portion size and quality.
It’s normally quite busy, but rarely do I see people waiting. I would recommend stopping by, highly doubt you will be disappointed.

We ordered two boba drinks—one passion fruit and one strawberry. The strawberry boba was unpleasant and not drinkable. We asked to exchange it for another passion fruit boba, but were told we would need to pay for a second drink while still being charged for the one we did not want.
We had also ordered a salt & pepper chicken appetizer, miso ramen, and lump crab & shrimp fried rice. Due to the lack of flexibility and customer service, we canceled our entrées altogether. Nowhere on the menu does it state that exchanges are not allowed. Unfortunately, this experience resulted in the loss of a customer.

The food at Open Rice Blakeney was not great - everything about it was off even on simple things like basic rice. It was very mediocre and seemed overpriced. The service was good so it's hard to give a fully bad review.
Fried rice was basically white rice. Meat quality was fine but flavoring was minimal.

The food was delicious and the portion size was huge for the price we paid. Everything was great, especially the Tom Yum soup I had.
Customer service was superb, and we didn’t have to wait a while for the food even though it was packed.
I have been here three times in the past month with friends and family and will definitely come back again for the other food options!
