Great food and Deion our sever was great but they were training employees, in the middle of the restaurant, beside us at 7pm on a Friday. Was pretty weird, also played some videos that were pretty loud and obnoxious.

As a cook and trainer at outback in the early 90s when outback first opened in charlotte. This outback at Riverbend is below standards, The food is subpar for their standards first of all.The wait staff mostly black, Are not attentive to white customers while having an attitude as if you are bothering them and not receptive to the needs of the customers. Not willing to their jobs as just need a pay check for clocking in. As local to the area for 50 plus years. We did go back for the second time to see if the restaurant got over first opening glitches but only found there were no changes. NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT! WILL NOT BE BACK!

We Had A Party Of 10. We Called Ahead For The Call Ahead Seating. Our Time Was For 4:50. We Arrived In Time. We Had A Few Running Behind About 15 Minutes. We Had Reese/Reece as our server tonight. She Was Very Understanding With The Delay. She Took An Appetizer Order & Brought Us Our Beverages. At That Point The Rest Of The Party Had Arrived. She Allotted Them Time To Read The Menu A Few Minutes, When She Returned, We Placed Our Orders. She Was Very Honest About The Beverage Questions My Brothers Had. She Was Very Helpful With Explaining To Us Our SideOptions. The Food Came To The Table Piping Hot, Fresh Off The Grill. Everything Was Prepared As Requested. It Was Delicious!! The Service Was Impeccable!! Reese Was AMAZING!
Sometimes You Have Hiccups When A New Establishment Just Opens Up. We Didn't Today. They Had It All Together. Even The Other Staff Members Were Very Friendly. Great Experience! ✌️?

First and foremost I’d like to commend Tiana for being a hard working server and for having to deal with that NIGHTMARE table consisting of the older, problematic couple who’s sole purpose was to get something for free!
Because of those rude customers, our server was not able to provide us with the attention that we know she’s capable of. We waited a bit to get our order in and this was because of that horrible table that was occupying EVERYONES time!
The manager visited their table at least a dozen times to hear complaints. Not once did a manager come by our table to check on us, because this problematic couple had the manager scared to death!
Shame on that manager for allowing rude patrons like this to occupy his every moment! I hope that manager learns how to focus on customers who deserve attention and not customers who are simply trying to get a free meal.

Food was very greasy. Blooming onion and wings. Would not spend another dime here ! Wait staff slow. Never got a refill til time to pay. Had to get up and get my own silverware!! Potato soup bland, spilt drink under the table before we arrived.

10/31/2024 There’s a lot to unpack here. I ordered a little under $100 of food. Everything came out right except my $30 meal. I ordered the prime rib and got a rib eye smothered in prime rib seasoning as if the chef hoped I wouldnt know the difference. My baked potato clearly should have been tossed out before it was baked and the asparagus was soggy bathing in a pool of water at the bottom of me container. See pictures attached (s&s 12 oz Prime Rib)… Being that we ordered ahead we assumed showing up thirty minutes later we wouldn’t have to wait very long although 20 minutes went by and no food. The atmosphere at this location is one that I frequently try to avoid unless I’m in a bind or have little time. Be sure to watch out for the crazy tweakers panhandling/demanding money at the light to this location. The traffic is toxic and if I were you I’d just go down the road to Mt Holly and get a good take out dinner there instead. Wish I could give this place zero stars but a one star will have to do. It’s amazing to me that any business can succeed operating the way this one does at this location. Good luck to anyone willing to brave the journey here.
