Food & service was great! Locally owned and locally sourced food is what Midwood is all about. Sat outside and watched the games with our 4 kids and plenty of options to choose from for everyone. Buckets of Miller High Life are key too for the big games. We’ll make this a frequent stop!

Confused by the reviews. Painted Rooster on a Friday evening at 6PM was obviously just microwaved food. Insane that a place in prime location of plaza is so gross. Chicken was semi cold and had obviously been pre-cooked earlier that day. Side Mac had that strange microwaved dairy texture and taste and was dry. Salad was good! Hopefully this place will be replaced by something better, it was worse and less fresh than most bar or brewery food. Go to Chex or literally any place that makes fresh food and you’ll be better off. Even a franchise pizza chain at least cooks your chicken to order.

Went out for wings Monday nite . Place was pretty empty. Our wings were taking so long we asked for an appetizer only so that was not even warm! 2 hours later wings, fries and no alcohol with the appetizer comped due to service kitchen issues Cost 65 dollars only to never to return . Bigger question is why this place rates high and I did not receive gold plated wings for the high price.

Date night and we had been wanting to try this restaurant. Food was nothing above mediocre. Food had absolutely no taste. No seasoning. We had the wings and I had one of the sandwiches. Half the sandwich and half the wings went to the trash and we didn't even bother to take them home. 2 waters and the bill was a total waste of money at approximately $45.00. We will never go back.

Absolutely loved my first visit to Painted Rooster! The wings were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. The dips and sauces were clearly made fresh, and the herbs made ALL the difference. As a first-timer, I was so impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly the staff were; they helped me narrow down what to order (which wasn’t easy since everything looked amazing!). Can’t wait to come back and try more, highly recommend! (I will be sure to nab some pics on the next visit. Truly a testament to how good the food was)

Third time here as we live in PM. One word…inconsistent. First two times chicken sandwiches were good and wings were terrible (tough). This final time all four chicken sandwiches were terrible (dry and chewy), waffle fries excellent, sweet potato fries terrible, Mac and cheese good and for the first time the wings were good. The wait staff was also very good. Having the main meal of sandwiches this bad will keep us away for good.
