Food & service was great! Locally owned and locally sourced food is what Midwood is all about. Sat outside and watched the games with our 4 kids and plenty of options to choose from for everyone. Buckets of Miller High Life are key too for the big games. We’ll make this a frequent stop!
Absolutely loved my first visit to Painted Rooster! The wings were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. The dips and sauces were clearly made fresh, and the herbs made ALL the difference. As a first-timer, I was so impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly the staff were; they helped me narrow down what to order (which wasn’t easy since everything looked amazing!). Third time here as we live in PM. One word…inconsistent. First two times chicken sandwiches were good and wings were terrible (tough). This final time all four chicken sandwiches were terrible (dry and chewy), waffle fries excellent, sweet potato fries terrible, Mac and cheese good and for the first time the wings were good. The wait staff was also very good. Having the main meal of sandwiches this bad will keep us away for good.
