Papa Johns Pizza

Got the Grand Papa. Didn’t like that it came in two boxes. It was also cold by the time I got home and I live right next to the Bowl at Ballantyne. Also the owner should teach their employees proper greeting methods when paying customers enter the premises. Sure the Gen Z stare is ok but it gets old after a while but at the same time I guess these guys are probably only getting paid 15 dollars an hour or under. So I guess you get what you pay for. Anyways I will order again. Thank you

I ordered delivery. I loved that it delivered so quickly. It said it would be delivered around 7:40pm, it got here around 7:20pm, though, it would’ve been nice to see this on the tracker. The tracker did not update. When I received my pizza, it was missing black olives- my favorite topping! It’s a topping we always had as a child and it’s one that I always ask for. I double-checked my order to make sure black olives were listed, and they were. So that was disappointing.

I reviewed the receipt and noticed the tip wasn’t added. This must have been a mistake. So I called and spoke with the manager and told him to include a $10 tip for the delivery driver. It’s the new year and the driver was older, and I live on the 3rd floor. So I appreciate his effort.

After that, I informed the manager that I was missing my favorite topping and to let him know for future orders. He thanked me and that was that lol. He didn’t even apologize 😆 just said they will make sure it won’t happen to my future orders lol. But how would he know when in order? lol anyways, I took off 2 stars - 1 for the missing olives and 1 for the manager. I took a photo the morning after.

There were 8 employees working back there, no staff shortage, the manager was barking orders like he should be. He was fully in charge. Was organized chaos which is normal for a pizza place on a Saturday night. My pizza was exceptional and exactly the way I ordered it.
Good job crew!!

Curious half pepper for a whole extra large pizza, is that normal?

needs work on customer service. i walked in to pick up three pizzas and 2 2liters. i was immediately asked if i had a pick up order. no greeting or “welcome to papa johns”. after providing my name i was told my wait time would be 8-10 minutes, then he turned and walked away. i asked if i could go ahead and pay for it since i was paying with cash, to which i was ignored because of the AirPods in his ears. Him and the coworker in the back exchanged inappropriate topics while customers in the lobby waited for their orders. The only reason i give them two stars is because of the redhead worker who was making the pizzas. Excellent quality pizzas & very well mannered since he was the one to cash me out. Apologetic when he forget my bags for the two liters & works very quick. He asked if he could help me with anything else & when i said no thank you, he was kind and told me to have a great night. Props to him, he was basically running the place. Shame on the other two.

Just order Domino's
Took way too long when we live so close. They transferred the delivery to doordash. Food arrived barely warm, undercooked crust was very floppy/soft. Everything was bland, boneless buffalo bites were barely sauced and were not good. Cheese bread was cut into the tiniest strips, very weird. Good reminder to just stick with our usual Domino's.

Food arrived on time however pizza wasn’t cut into slices and pepperoni was burnt, we even asked for extra cheese.

Mgr offered refund or another pizza but not both so we opted for the refund. Clearly after seeing other reviews they have some staffing issues at this location.

Got sick immediately after eating here. Never again!

May 1st 2025. Needed a late dinner. I was perfectly fine with 15 to 25 minutes. It literally only took 6 to 9 minutes and it honestly felt sketchy and suspicious. There's no way you can make pizza way too fast like that. (They probably put the heat setting as hot as possible, I don't know) Tried the pizza and it tasted alright. Just some advice, please put more time options for pickup. There were just 2. As soon as possible or 1 hour later. I would've been perfectly fine with a reasonable time. 15 to 25 minutes in that range. Thanks for serving us a safe pizza. Will try to return again someday.

Dreadful. I like my pizza a little charred so I checked the box for Well Done. The pizza arrived and the dough was still raw. Total floppy mess, it was inedible. I know Papa John's is cheap chain pizza so I my expectations aren't high but cooking the pizza should be the bare minimum effort made.
