My favorite place in south Charlotte in the warmer months, though if they were open, I would come year round. Due to my health, I often can't eat and having access to stuff like this really helps. Attempted to go to this location after dinner tonight got there at 8:52 the of hours operations time says they close at 9pm when i got there whoever was working turned off the open sign as i was parking. When i start to get out my car a young lady is inside cleaning acknowledged me shaking her head no mouthing we’re closed. Rushed here to make it in time and this was the service received. Not a good way to do business.

Staff was nice but the area isn't very kid friendly and they drenched my snowball in syrup. Way too much. Couldn't finish it.

The ice they use at this location isn’t like the ice they use in other locations. It tasted like crushed ice instead of that “snow” texture and the staff got my order wrong

The ice was finely shaved, creating a soft, snow-like consistency that soaked up the flavors wonderfully. Each bite was a tropical delight, making the snoballs here a five-star treat.

While the service and food shine, the atmosphere at Pelican’s Snoballs falls short. The outdoor seating area, though functional, lacks charm and comfort. The setup is basic, with picnic tables that feel more utilitarian than inviting. There’s a noticeable absence of shade or decor that could enhance the ambiance and make the experience more enjoyable. The overall environment feels a bit neglected, which detracts from the otherwise high-quality service and delicious offerings. This aspect of the visit unfortunately only merits a one-star rating, as the atmosphere doesn’t live up to the excellent food and service.

Overall Experience:
Pelican’s Snoballs delivers on fantastic flavors and stellar service, but the atmosphere leaves much to be desired. The guava and cream snoball was a highlight, showcasing the potential of their menu. However, the lackluster setting detracts from the overall enjoyment, making it a less ideal spot for a leisurely treat. With improvements to the seating area and ambiance, Pelican’s could easily elevate the entire experience. As it stands, it’s a great place for a quick, delicious snoball, especially if you’re not too concerned with the surroundings.

Literally ordered four different snowcones. Got the first two immediately then they got the third one wrong 4 times before finally getting it right. Then we didn’t even get the last snowcone, so we told them and they refused to give it to us saying we already got it. Finally after going back in forth, they made it, but it was wrong. So they had to make it again. Not a great experience and it took 30 minutes for four snowcones(each two flavors and one topping) Not worth it and there were like 10 people waiting in line and none of their orders were even taken yet.

The prices for the cup sizes was unbelievably so cheap. The snowballs were great as well as the service.

Better than Statesville Ave and i wasn't charged for the flavors separately. Good job ladies!!
