One of the best Indian restaurants for me. Sometimes it’s a hit or miss. I can definitely forgive bad days. I only go for Saturday mostly. I like this restaurant because not even one time they gave me frozen food or old food. Sometimes food taste misses the mark. Quantity worth the price. Every time they take their time and freshly prepare food excluding samosas. Sometimes even about an hour. Test for your patience. But it’s worth it. Most of other Indian restaurants in Charlotte are worst. I am not sure how they worth have 4 stars by just giving frozen and old food. I came from Detroit. Detroit Indian restaurants beat hands down. All Indian restaurants in Charlotte are garbage including 4-star ones. I am not sure charlotte Indians have dead tongue or lost mind or generous. Sanitary conditions are way worse and need to be improved. Preparing food is a big premium in Charlotte. Detroit it’s normal. Charlotte Indian restaurants I have tried give mostly frozen food or old food even week ends. Persis is the only Indian restaurant in charlotte that prepares food fresh every time I order. Taste is inconsistent. Quantity is good for price. Only thing for me it’s long travel 45 mins from my home. This restaurant has many repeated customers including me.Update:- not sure for past 1 month . Persis touch is gone

The buffet served here very worst and its completly let down , with a limited variety of uninspired dishes that lacked flavor and freshness. But the biggest disappointment was the so-called 'goat curry,' which was nothing more than a thin, watery soup with barely any traces of meat. It was more like a tease than a satisfying dish. Overall, a dismal dining experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone."

One of the only Indian buffets I’d pay the extra bucks for weekend! Highly recommend the Sunday menu, it’s good on any day you come but Sunday menu is packed! You get so much for the price and the selections are of high quality. A good spread of both north and South Indian dishes, don’t get me started on the fresh made to order dosa you get included in the buffet… so freakin delicious.

Wow there is a huge difference between this location and the one in Greenville, SC. This place is more like Chinese takeout and Greenville being fancy and clean. Food was meh, I like the other place better. But what made me write this review was watching two men eat sloppily with their fingers and continue to go back for more food touching everything at the buffet. And the staff doesn’t even seem to mind at all. Incredibly unsanitary and something I never saw at the Persis Greenville location which I had been to many times.

This place is so mess. We went there for lunch buffet the food is not good at all and the worst thing is all the customers are using their hand to eat food and to get the food they are using same plate with that same dirty hand. It was so disgusting to see that.

I was in town for business and went there for lunch with a co-worker. We got there at 11:30AM and they weren't open yet. A gentleman came out and told us it'll be 10 to 15 minutes before they were ready. We waited about 30 minutes and they still weren't open. We had to get to work so we went to the Indian joint next door. That was a total fail too. My coworker and I ended up at Bojangles. Overall frustrating and disappointing.

They have a seriously good buffet which is priced very fairly on weekdays. I typically don't eat enough to make an $18+ price point buffet worth it. The lunch buffets are very diverse and have great vegetarian and meat options. The seasoning and spice levels are also nice. This is clearly an authentic Indian place. If you like "Americanized Indian" you won't like this restaurant. They don't use a lot of cream and mild flavor profiles. This place has become a staple for me! Love the lunch buffet!
