This deli feels like stepping into a piece of local history. You can tell it’s been around for decades, and the regulars (many fresh from church) clearly treat it like home. The staff knows everyone by name, and you get the sense that all of them have been working here forever

The experience here is horrible. Be prepared to not be greeted, humiliated in front of the entire restaurant for asking if items are gluten free for allergy purposes and interacting with rude waitstaff. My only positive thing to say about this place is they offer a gluten free bread option, which should be the norm everywhere. Just because you’re family owned and operated and have been established for decades doesn’t mean you can treat and talk to people the way you do. We are guests in your restaurant paying your food cost, paying your bills, paying for you to pay your employees. It’s really disheartening to be treated like an inconvenience because the entire waitstaff is always in a bad mood. My husband and I will no longer step foot in this establishment for the way we were treated. Your team should really consider what your guests are going through before treating them like a burden.

I had a bagel and lox platter today and it was simply below average in quality. Platter had limp lettuce, a disposable tiny single serving of cream cheese, a few loops of stringy red onions, coffeemate creamer, awful bagel and curt service. They need to visit a real Jewish deli to be schooled properly. Never again here.
