All transplanted New Yorkers now living in Charlotte have one common gripe. Where can we find genuine New York style pizza in Charlotte? While in New York for 35 years I used to regularly eat at Ray’s on Bleeker Street, continuously ranked as a top three pizza in the US. Go to Pie in the Sky, you’ll be glad you did and before long you’ll be saying “forgetaboutit”

It was really busy and they still got us in and out in a timely manner. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We ate our slices and even went back and got more to go. Was tasty.

If you're in Charlotte and looking for some incredible food, Pie In The Sky is a must-visit! While their pizza is outstanding, their Philly cheesesteak is a hidden gem that deserves special mention. It's perfectly crafted with tender, juicy steak, melted cheese, and just the right amount of onions and peppers, all on a fresh, soft roll that holds everything together without getting soggy. The flavors come together in every bite, making it one of the best Philly cheesesteaks you’ll find in town. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and an all-around awesome spot for comfort food lovers!

I wouldn’t order from them again or suggest them for catering. Taste 5/10. They are thin crust but it was somehow still dense and chewy- not light and flaky as it should be. We used them for a corporate party. They delivered on time and were helpful with setting up. They also got the order wrong- mixing up one pie. The delivery person didn't seem very concerned or apologetic about it. I wanted to alert a manager of the situation and was met by the same delivery person... telling me they are the manager. It goes a long way when a mistake is met with a sincere apology or even some offer to remediate but we received neither.

Best pizza in town. Coming from New York, it’s hard to find places that offer high quality pizza, especially with variety (favorite being buffalo chicken). Going on my lunch break, always a great energy in this place, and the food is outstanding (plus, it’s ready quick). Highly recommend

Very small shop not room for more than four customers. The waitress bagged trash then bagged my food. Gave my sandwich to someone else and gave me the wrong order. The pizza slice I got was ok though.

Downhill, the only way to describe this place. I remember the good old days when this place used to have a line outside, but it makes sense why it doesn’t anymore. I was back in CLT and decided to try it again. The first few times I went in the past were great, I could call in and have a pizza made fresh; now they don’t even have that. They even used to have a special with 2 slices of pizza and a soda, that is gone too. I paid 11.50 for 2 slices of average pizza and a soda, major ripoff.
Don’t come here, it’s not worth it and food has gone downhill.

Why does the music need to be so loud? Employees and customers can’t hear each other.. multiple times I’ve gone. Food is good and service is quick. The layout could be better as it feels everyone is on top each other when ordering / waiting.
Had a week long meeting in uptown and searched for a place to eat that wouldn’t break the bank. This place had a great price, great people and great food. Wish I would have found it Monday instead of Thursday. I will definitely be back next month.
