I’d like to remind everyone Iam also a victim of the “window service” and seeing a full restaurant yet being told to leave way before closing time , pathetic workers , pretending they don’t have garlic powder because they are all lazy , if this happens next time then the owner is a true coward

Huge slices, small menu. This is my preference. At first I thought the huge size was just a gimmick. No, the pie is dope.

I recently visited PIE.ZAA in Charlotte after discovering them through the Goodiebag app, which focuses on sustainability by allowing businesses to offer discounted products that would otherwise be discarded. I love the concept and appreciate businesses that participate in reducing food waste.
The first challenge for me was the parking situation. I was able to find the location without any problem, but I had to circle the block several times before finding a spot. Just something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during a busy time.
Once inside, the cashier was very friendly and took the time to explain how the Goodiebag pickup process works. The slices are pre-boxed and refrigerated, but they will heat them up for you if you’d like, which I appreciated. While I understand the efficiency of the concept, I did wonder how ingredient transparency is handled, especially for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
The store itself was clean, which is always a plus. At the end of the counter where you receive your order, they had a nice selection of condiments available — red pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and parsley — all neatly set up and easy to access.
Overall, it was a solid experience with friendly service and a great sustainability concept. Just plan ahead for parking!
