We had a very nice dinner in this restaurant. Good was awesome and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely return often. My only complaint would be the music was a bit loud, but maybe I'm just old.

We loved Pio Pio in NYC – it was one of the best, and the chicken was always perfect along with everything else. Unfortunately, our experience at the Charlotte location has been very disappointing. The food was overcooked, and the chicken was super dry with the skin completely burned and dried out. We also ordered the sausage with fries, but they were tasteless, and the sausages were overcooked and dry.
We tried this place twice, hoping it was just a bad day the first time, but we ended up with bad food both times. Very disappointing compared to the NYC location. Sadly, we do not recommend!

We have been trying to contact management regarding this incident for over a week now and no one seems to care, no manager has reached back out. I would warn anyone against going to eat here. She has received harassing phone calls from an individual who was given her information by a staff member named Natalia.

Great roast chicken with excellent service. My wife and I shared the 1/2 chicken plate and my girls had the chicken leg w rice and a side if beans and sweet plantains. We also tried a chicken empanada that was delicious. Very very tasty, great prices, and will return soon. Save room for the tres leches!!

First time ordering something from here besides fries. I got the 1/2 chicken plate. The skin had good flavor, but was soggy. One piece of chicken was very dry and the other looked a bit undercooked/pinkish (did not risk eating the pinkish one). However, the beans and fries were yummy and all the food was nice and hot.
