Can't say enough good things about Pizza Baby - thrift road. Our experience is always enjoyable - between food quality, drinks, and service. We were in last night and they got slammed with people unexpectedly from the storm - even short staffed the bartender and two servers hustled and rocked it out. Kudos to them for sure. Love having Pizza Baby in the hood!

Visited twice and won't be back. First visit, we ordered one pizza off the menu and another one custom with just two toppings. Only one of those toppings made it on the pizza. We also ordered a bottle of red wine, which didn't make it to the table for 50 minutes. And before it did, the server asked us if we'd rather wait until it reached room temp.... We were there over 2 1/2 hours piecing together our meal.Second visit, same server and more issues. We had a party of 9, 3 pizzas and a few apps. We split the bill 3 ways and everyone was charged incorrectly. We were also billed for sauce sides for sauces that came on the pizza, we tried to ask and were flatly told that's how we ordered it?We called an uber after paying, but still needed a box. We never saw our server again, and after a few minutes, went over to find someone who could get a box for the remaining pizza. Every attempt to stop someone failed so I went over to the to-go area where the boxes are all stacked up and grabbed one myself. Someone from the kitchen screamed at me "those boxes cost money ya know". As if I was stealing a souvenir. The service sucks, the seating is all uncomfortable, the acoustics create a significant amount of noise, and the pizza is really just okay.

This place is painnnnfully slow. When we were at the restaurant nobody was even there we were the only table when we sat down and yet our food took more than 30 min to come and when we asked our waitress she gave us an attitude. Will not be coming back. There are better pizza places in CLT!!!

What an amazing place and people! Pizza Baby hosted our company holiday party dinner and it was fabulous! Everyone is still raving about it! The pizza and atmosphere was suburb! If I could give 10 stars + for service, I would! Pizza Baby is now our company go to place for the best pizza and exceptional service. We probably had everything on the menu at least once and we haven't found anything we don't like. Some of our non-pizza favorites are the bacon wrapped dates and we also loved the bar and mocktails service as well.

We arrived with friends at opening and they let us in a few minutes early because of the rain. We came bc of the food quality and we’re definitely impressed. We ordered the 18” pigs in the woods pizza. It was absolutely delicious and very big. Our friends had the margarita pizza and it was also great. We all ordered their wings by the lb, which gave us eight good sized wings, and we tried both flavors. They bake their wings but they were still very crispy and we will definitely get them again. We’ll be very happy to go again.Kid-friendliness: We love places that welcome kids! There were families with kids dining.

We are new in town and we’re looking for a pizza place, Pizza Baby is it! Oscar is amazing, he even let us try fresh Parmesan that he had imported from Italy! The food service and atmosphere can’t be beat!!!

First time visit and I will definitely be coming back. Everyone there was very friendly, the restaurant was open and airy, and the food was delicious. Ordered the Beets by Trey (my favorite), Little Gem salad, and the Rosemary pizza. Also met chef Oscar, who shared a taste of parmigiano reggiano that was SO good!!

Love this place! Food is closest to New York pizza,I think the best pizza in Charlotte. The Caesar salad was delicious and I highly recommend it.Steve, the owner Is just so warm and friendly, He came to talk to us several times to make sure we were enjoying our meal, He even brought us a little dessert, treats that his friends from Greenwich Village had brought in the night before, pignoli and rainbow cookies, which, of course, reminds us so much of Home. This is our new fav. And we have recommended to several of our neighbors who love it as well.

The pizza is incredibly mediocre for the price. There is too much crust versus toppings and our pizza was overcooked.

I work in the Elizabeth area and visited the Pizza Baby East location on the first day it was open around 8:45am. I had walked to the Peoples Market to grab coffee and a pastry but they didn't have any pastries available. I was walking back to my office when someone from Pizza Baby handed me a flyer and said they had fresh pastries and coffee. I went in and bought a chocolate croissant. It was delicious. The perfect ratio of chocolate to croissant. The croissant was flaky yet melted in my mouth. Would recommend for a morning fix.

Sometimes restaurants just do everything right. Will be back.... often. Highly recommend the new Cali pizza, the little gem salad, and the bacon wrapped dates. Also, don't shy away from the Controvento. This natural wine was refreshing with all the right notes.
