The pizza and wings were really good...once we finally got them. It took over 30 min for a cheese pizza and 40 min for wings. The wings were supposed to be an appetizer, but came out after our food. We had to ask the server about them, and she asked the kitchen and only then were they brought. We were the ONLY people ordering in the place at the time, so I'm not sure what took so long. When our server saw we were slightly irritated, she brought our food and never came back to the table again. This is the second time we've had lousy service from this same server. She did take the wings off our bill, but still, it's disappointing. The other people who came in after us, got their food before us! I won't be going back.

We were a party of 4. When we finished our meal there was not even a crumb left on our plates. It was SO good! Loved the crust and all add-ins were fresh and delicious. It is a small restaurant but there is outside seating also.

We LOVED this restaurant. The food was incredible and staff were warm and welcoming. They accommodated our needs and by the time we left we felt like regulars. We'll be returning again and again.

My husband and I tried Pizza Baby East based on a mention in Axios. When we arrived at 12:45 the place was packed but the staff greeted us right away and made us feel that they were happy we came and that we'd be served as soon as possible. Our food took awhile but it was worth the wait. We both had a Roman style "slice" which was a large piece of delicious focaccia topped with chicken, rosemary and hot honey for him and a house slice topped with delicious Italian sausage for me. We enjoyed our lunch very much and will be back.

Craving a perfect family day trip? My crew and I recently ventured from Raleigh to Charlotte, and our culinary compass pointed us directly to Pizza Baby. With a menu boasting the holy trinity of pizza, wings, and salad, it was an easy decision, and a quick reservation secured our spot amidst what we anticipated would be a bustling lunch rush. Upon arrival, the vibrant energy of a packed house greeted us, but our wait was remarkably brief. The owner, whose welcoming face I instantly recognized, was a beacon of hospitality. He personally greeted us, assuring us of immediate seating, a gesture that truly set the tone. While lingering by the door, we appreciated the surprisingly clean and well-maintained restroom facilities, a small detail that speaks volumes. Once seated, our server, a wonderfully kind and knowledgeable individual (I believe her name was "Wa"), effortlessly guided us through the menu. Her expertise and calm demeanor were clearly honed by catering to large groups sitting the restaurant, making our experience seamless. Another attentive gentleman also contributed to the excellent service, though his name eludes me. Beyond the impeccable service, Pizza Baby truly shines with its offerings. Their curated wine collection, refreshing spritz menu, and, of course, the food, were all fantastic. A highlight of our visit came when we mentioned our Raleigh origins to the owner. In a truly generous move, he invited us into the kitchen, where my 11-year-old had the incredible opportunity to witness the magic of pizza-making firsthand! In short, Pizza Baby served up delicious food, an amazing atmosphere, and a top-tier experience. We're already planning our next trip back!

Servers did the very best they could but they were most certainly understaffed. Service was SLOW.

A bit difficult the reservation experience. The pizza selections are amazing and the salads excellent.

Absolutely some of the best pizza I've ever had. The Barada is outstanding, and the meatballs are to die for.

Menu changed since opening which is a bummer but not unusual however it does not have the same quality at all. The tables are so tiny and close to other guests that you feel uncomfortable. Probably wouldn't be as quick to recommend to others.

If you haven't stopped into Pizza Baby east in Elizabeth yet, you are missing something special. Its great pizza and service, and it to us, it felt like a small European restaurant. It transports us to Italy, a small town square with locals dinning in the little neighborhood restaurant. We think Pizza Baby has the best pizza in Charlotte. We were a. party of six and ordered 4 pizzas and shared them. Visitors from out of town were blown away by how good the food was! We can't wait to go back!

Pizza Baby East never disappoints. The food, the wine, the beer, the service, the vibe are all amazing. We tried two sandwiches that we hadn't had before (chicken cutlet and the Italian) and they were so good. But you can't go wrong with whatever you eat. We love PBE and are so glad they are in the Elizabeth neighborhood!

A great neighborhood spot ... convenient to trolley line, with convenient parking at the rear. Server was very engaging and explained the Roman-style pizza which was new to our party. Good portions, delicious, with plenty of beverage choices.

It's always a fun time at Pizza Baby. It's not a huge space, but it has a great vibe. The food is excellent and service is spectacular. I will definitely go back.

We made a reservation for six people, and when we arrived, we were put in the very back of the restaurant in a separate little storage area that was completely isolated from everything else. We couldn't see or hear any other part of the restaurant and were stuck in a tiny little area under the stairs which we could barely fit in. We called it the dungeon. Then we ordered wine and were told that the wine we ordered was sold out. Then we ordered another bottle of wine and were told that bottle was sold out too. We ordered a third bottle of wine and when it came and was the worst wine I have ever tasted in my life. Therefore, we ordered a fourth bottle of wine. When they brought the fourth bottle out, they told us they didn't have any wine glasses for us. Then they proceeded to bring out our salad and three out of the four pizzas we ordered out, but told us they didn't have any plates or silverware for us. The fourth pizza that we had ordered never arrived. 2 hours after we arrived, we ended up with half our order, no decent wine, no plates, no silverware, and no wine glasses. The part of our order we actually DID receive was okay, but not great. I had to ask for the check to get the heck out of there. And when the check arrived they had charged us for the wine we never got and the pizza we never got. I asked our waiter to take off the pizza and wine and explained to the waiter why it had been a terrible experience. He ended up taking $30 off our check. Gee thanks. Never again!!!!! How is this place getting such good reviews???? I've lived in Charlotte for 40 years and have visited literally every restaurant in this City and I've NEVER once written a bad review. Ever.
