Polo Campero which is originally from Guatemala and not Mexico as others have labeled it as, is hands down the best fried chicken there is, deep flavor through and through, crispy chicken while the batter isn't too thick, as compared to other U.S fried chicken places Polo Campero doesn't feel like you are eating over processed by-products of food, oh and not to forget they also have grilled chicken which is also really good, everytime I have eaten at a Campero the chicken...
Charlotte is a fried chicken city. Aside from being the headquarters for Bojangles, we've got outlets for all the big chains - KFC, Church's, Popeye's and such. Several excellent local restaurants, too. So I had high hopes today for Pollo Campero.

Amazing delivery experience, fast, hot, and fresh! The flavor took us straight back to our beautiful Guatemala. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of that signature Campero seasoning we love. It’s more than food, it’s nostalgia, culture, and comfort all in one box.
