I showed up today to the doors being locked during normal business hours, and a host sitting at the table by the door was on her phone. She finally looked up to unlock the door for me. I greeted her, and no response. I walk up to the desk and the hostess started talking to her coworker. I’m just standing there patiently still not acknowledged or greeted. The ladies then proceeded to answer the phone and look super busy when there was only one other white guy in there with me (who was talked to) and I could tell the ladies were randomly making small talk with one another so I couldn’t get a word in. When one of the ladies finally took a breath, she started stapling receipts onto orders. I realized I’m being ignored on purpose right. I say, “excuse me, I’m here to pick up my order” and say the name. She looks over at the bags of orders waiting to be picked up and giggles then says “I’m sorry, one moment”, clicks the name off of a screen that I can see, and continues stapling the receipts onto other orders. At this point I’m annoyed because I KNOW my order is sitting in my face. 5 more minutes go by, and she says “what was the name again?” I repeat myself and she hands me my order smh. I was there for at least 12 mins. I’m a black woman, but I am NOT their opp. If I would have been an “angry black woman” I would have been wrong right? Lol ladies in front were just straight up racist and rude for NO reason and I haven’t dealt with racism in years 🤦🏾♀️

We ordered the “natural” mango drink, which came in a very small cup — definitely not worth the price. They told us we could get a “refill,” but later we found out they charged us for every single drink. In total, we paid around $60 just for 3 drinks and one so-called refill!
To make things worse, they added a tip to our bill without our consent, even though North Carolina law (13 N.C. Admin. Code 12 .0303 - Tips and Tip Credits) states that tips must be voluntary and cannot be automatically charged.
We were only 3 people, and this kind of overcharging and misleading “refill” policy feels like taking advantage of customers. Definitely not coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place.

They sold me very sticky rice, very sticky salad, and when I went to complain, they wanted the product. The manager hid when I went, they asked me for my phone number. They never called me. I saved the food to return it and called again. He said that they can't lose, but one that can. another person can lose bad quality 3 times already that they look bad with other acquaintances

The restaurant's policies are the worst, how is it possible that to eat a certain type of dish on the menu we have to pay for the table and apart from that we have to pay another percentage for the number of people who are in the restaurant when we are there talking about a chicken roastery and not a terrace or a restaurant with Michelin stars

The breakfasts are the worst. They almost sell the banana whole, they don't want to cut anything anymore. They don't serve the order as you order it, they always water it. The cream has more flavor, the sula is the cheapest, apart from the sweet potato, they alter it with milk...they go too far!! Unoriginal flavors, pure altered recipe. The truth is that half a star is a lot for the breakfasts.....

I was looking for the best Fried Chicken in Charlotte and this place was recommended on reddit. I was a little disappointed. The chicken was good, maybe I caught them on a bad night.
The server didn’t speak English, but I respect the fact that he had google translate handy and quickly translated anything he didn’t understand.
Fries were super soggy, the plantains were small but good. The chicken was good too, a little different from what I thought it would taste like but all in all I would go again.
