The food was fairly good but the tiramisu was frozen in the middle. I didn’t want to make a thing of it but in terms of quality Olive Garden has better tiramisu. Our waiter was very offputting. They had dirty fingernails and were unsettling in interactions. It was a very odd and uncomfortable vibe. I feel like I’d get to go next time and skip dessert. The atmosphere was nice though. The support staff who cleaned our dishes were great.

Food tastes ok but you cannot customize when ordering online and they did not have asparagus that was ordered. Also ordered Chicken marsala and the sauce was watery and had no flavor. I probably will not go back here as there are to many other places with much better food.

Just great Italian American food casual with superb service and very casual family atmosphere.
Family orders take-out from Portofinos 2 to 4 times a month. Typically, the best Italian in South Charlotte. The last two times the pizza had an undercooked and flimsy crust. I thought the first time was a fluke, but no it happened again tonight. Guess it’s time to go back to Hawthorne’s.

I'm in visiting from out of town. I ordered calamari via UberEats. When my order arrived, it was in a white paper bag, not stapled shut, the receipt was stapled to the bag though. My calamari was cold, had no lid on it on the aluminum container and was rattling around in the bag. I WOULD NEVER ORDER TAKE OUT HERE AGAIN. The calamari wasn't bad after I warmed it in the oven. The marinara was very tasty. Only saving point of the whole disappointing experience.

Visited Portofino's with my mom for an early Sunday supper. Enjoyed the stromboli which had a nice, light bread crust and plenty of cheese. Arianna was pleasant and attentive in her service to our table. Servings are generous and our food arrived quickly. All around a great experience at Portofino's in the Arboretum!
