You will get the bang for your buck here! The food comes out plentiful! We ordered several dishes and were stuffed before our dinner came out but every dish was worth it!

The meal was exceptional from start to finish. I met a group there but was early and had fresh Italian bread and a Chianti to start at the bar. I looked at the desserts and they looked delectable. Sitting down to dine at the table the waiter took our drinks and went through all the specials. We had a meat and cheese plate to start. I had the Shrimp and Scallop pasta special. The Shrimp were plump and the Scallops a good size. The portion was ample. The photo does not do justice to the beauty and enormous size. Sorry it was blurry.Both the Scallops and the Shrimp were very tender and delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection. We had great service. I had a berry cake for dessert which was moist and had Blueberry and Raspberry sauce and full of berries. It was quite good. This is the best Portofinos I have been to in town. My only recommendation for improvement is to bring out a dessert tray, I think some people would have brought dessert home. Excellent place and I will be here again!!

On Tuesday, 2/6/2024, we celebrated a friend’s birthday with her two teenaged children (party of 5). Our reservation was perfect. The table was ready and we were seated promptly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our server, Andy!! He was magnificent and his service was impeccable!! The food was served hot and plated to perfection. Of course, the appetizer and salads were served prior, the main course followed. Our waters were filled and my Diet Coke was served, fresh glass and ice, promptly!! It was a very Italian atmosphere. The back room was very loud and I did have trouble hearing conversation at our table. We will be returning because you cannot beat their food and service!! (Maybe we can reserve Andy with our next reservation!!)Parking: There is plenty of parking and the restaurant is very handicap accessible. While I was there, I witnessed staff assist customers who used a walker, another with a broken foot, and one whose arm was in a sling. Also, since my party of 5 was all female, not once did we question our safety in the parking lot or the restaurant!!Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome!! We had two teenagers in our party!! All but one in my party had food put in to go boxes because the servings are plentiful!! This is a bargain!! *My left over was lunch the next day!!*
