What an incredible place to unwind and share great food with an even greater friend! I met my friend for wine and appetizers, and everything was truly outstanding. AJ was exceptionally attentive and friendly, the food was superb, and the drinks were absolutely fabulous.
The atmosphere at Postino Ballantyne made our night feel effortlessly perfect. We were able to relax, enjoy each other’s company, and soak in the amazing vibe of the space. It all came together to create a memorable evening we can’t wait to repeat.

Jay waited on me and a friend and he was fabulous!! He offered yummy suggestions on food and beverage. We had the bruschetta board and meatballs on the small plate menu. Happy hour rose was delicious and took home a bottle of Holly’s Way. Can’t wait to go back!!

Postino is a great place in the Ballantyne Bowl to grab lunch, appetizers or dinner. All the menu items I have tried are so good. I love their cranberry chicken salad and especially the PREAM bowl! Our bartender Alexis is awesome and we love their manager Naomi; she is so welcoming and fun to talk with. Go to Postino, you won’t regret it!

Really like Postino. We went here when we first arrived in Charlotte and immediately became a favorite. I’m Italian and the bruschetta are great.

I just called to ask about the soup of the day. When I was told it was “cheddar ale,” I asked if it was vegetarian. The staff member said, “I believe so.” I clarified by asking if it contained chicken or beef broth, and she replied, “Well, if it does, it’s probably just a little.” I asked her to double-check, and after putting me on hold, she confirmed that it is not vegetarian.
A note for management: please ensure staff are properly informed about menu items—or at least verify with the kitchen when unsure. This would help avoid confusion for customers with dietary restrictions.

Alexis made the experience special. She talked us through the menu (Italian Beef Dip Panini was a solid choice) and found ways to accommodate when we ask for modifications. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you!

Fantastic experience. We stopped here while at the bowl with our 15 month old. Decided to take a chance since we had not heard of it. Atmosphere was great and chairs comfortable. Before our food came Chef Cash brought out a special plate of food for my daughter and that was such a nice surprise. The food and service was great, will be coming back more!

Came here for the happy hour on a Thursday. We had the hummus board and the Caprese panini and were blown away with how good the food was. The hummus plate was the star of lunch definitely recommend. Service was kind of slow it seemed that there were only 2 people for wait staff so getting refills and our check took a minute but it was fairly busy around 2 pm on a Thursday. Also you can’t beat $6 glasses of wine!

Great experience! It's lowly lit inside so great date night or girls night vibes. You have an option of booth, bar, table or outdoor seating, there was plenty of parking and it was easy to find. I loved the unique decor like a headphone wall and an old cigarette machine as the hostess stand. There was a real candle at our table which I liked- most places have replaced this with fake candles.
Tables are not assigned a server- all servers serve all tables. I didn't love this because there were a couple times that we didn't see a server for a while, I think because it didn't seem like we needed anything, and no one knew that he hadn't been seen in a while- tables can slip through the cracks when they don't have a designated server! All servers were friendly though.
The wine was great and they had good specials. We got sandwiches, my husband LOVED his tuna sandwich, said it tasted like a fancy tuna melt and he loved the French onion soup. My caprese sandwich was pretty good and I liked the mixed green side!
We brought our 3 month old and it wasn't baby friendly- no high chairs or baby carrier stands, and her carrier wouldn't fit inside the booth, so we had to leave her car seat/carrier on top of the table. Not the biggest deal and I guess it's more of a date night spot so they don't want many kiddos anyways! It was a bit pricy- $60 before tip for 2 sandwiches and a side upgrade, a glass of wine and a beer.
