Prime Fish Sushi Charlotte

Great sushi! No cocktails. Only offer Sake, Wine & bottled Coke products.

Really enjoyed prime fish, particularly the salmon nigiri sampler but overall cost seems a bit high based on location, quality, atmosphere.

Not what I expected after being told this was one of the top sushi places in CLT. Paid $45 for two pieces of rockfish, which is market and I was happy to pay that. However it was drowned in so much chili I couldn’t even taste the fish. Such a shame, they do not know how to season fish properly here. Take your money elsewhere.

Best sushi I’ve had in Charlotte!

Some of the best sushi in Charlotte. It's fresh and tastes great. Though, the establishment is intimate in size, we usually don't have to wait for a seat. Hendra, our waiter, was very personable and gave great recommendations on saki and rolls. Prime Fish Sushi will always be our go to place for sushi.

This place is amazing. We tried several rolls at lunch and can't rate it high enough. Hendra our server was amazing. Try the Asahi beer with your dinner. We will be back. 💯🍣🍱😍

Best sushi in Charlotte! This is our favorite spot to eat and the quality has always been consistent. We discovered this place after an amazing trip to Japan so although you can find cheaper rolls in Charlotte, the quality of Prime Fish is just next level. The decor and atmosphere is fine enough but we come here strictly for the food, drinks, and service.

Got to the restaurant at 1:47, well before the 2:00 close. Staff noted they did not serve after 1:45 (really - 2 minutes). On top of it all, staff was curt and unhelpful. Very sad approach to business. If you close at 1:45, note that you stop serving at 1:45.

Incredible experience. Terrell the sommelier expertly recommended a nice refreshing sipper, Edwin our sushi chef displayed his skills deliciously and our sweet waiter brought Asian candy at the end of our meal. The miso black cod was cooked perfectly and our truffle crab was sublime. Tempura fired soft shell with tuna and truffle! Everything is fresh, high quality and fantastically prepared. Subtle flavors and beautiful presentation. It reminded us of several small sushi restaurants in Japan. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to try their sister place-Omikase. Grab a seat at the sushi bar so you can see the chefs at their craft! Best sushi in town BY FAR!
