I have to admit, when I first walked in, I was a little nonplussed. This place is TINY. You will be sharing the equivalent of a small waiting room with the other customers and your barista.
The thing is, if you're into this kind of thing, it leads to really great conversations. I wound up chatting with the other people in there and my barista for nearly two hours.
The coffee is fantastic as well. The espresso (currently) is a Central American blend that's very light and herbal and acidic and it made a great cortado.
Unusual and offbeat but a welcome change from your typical coffeeshop in this day and age.

little coffee shop, barely visible from the outside and not looking like much but fantastic coffee. Nicely roasted with full but smooth flavors. Hands down best coffee I found in charlotte uptown and I tested 6 or 7 other coffee shops.

Really nice cafe that’s connected to the store Street Commerce nextdoor. The barista was super nice and I love the interior. Great drinks as well.
