Punta Cana Dominican Restaurant

Last week we traveled to Charlotte from Atlanta area to celebrate my parents 49th wedding anniversary. We found Punta Cana restaurant when searching for a restaurant that had good reviews. We were not disappointed and had to provide our own review. Everyone enjoyed the experience and the meal. The service was excellent. If you have never had a trifongo with broth you are truly missing out. We ordered four different mofongos so that we could try the different sauces and each one offered a wonderful flavor. The mofongo with sweet plantains and green plantains with octopus and garlic sauce was exceptional. Not to mention that the coconut flan was a nice treat and touch to complete our meal. We will definitely make the drive again. Until then those of you that live close by you definitely have a treasure in this restaurant.

Came here for dinner and was not disappointed. Cute setting, fantastic food, good service. We both got the Mofongo (pork & chicken) and both were delicious! Plenty of leftovers to take home as well. Topped it off with tres leches and Dominican cake; both were perfect size and sweetness. Found a new favorite spot.

All I have to say is that this place was amazing. Loved the atmosphere, the service was great. Elizabeth took care of us, she was very kind and sweet. There was definitely no wait. Overall the food was delicious. Worth it 100%

Overall a pretty solid choice for some Dominican food in Charlotte. Food was very fresh and flavors were bold. Would definitely recommend

Food took an hour to come out and then they brought me dry, hard yuca, cold fries and did not give sauce that was requested. When I asked for a side of mojo to help the yuca, the waitress was condescending about bringing it. She could not have cared less and did not even pretend to. Anyone that has worked as a waitress or waiter knows that is just bad service. They did not even offer a discount after that. This was my third visit to this restaurant but is definitely the last.

I come here often, because I love the family friendly atmosphere. Ive brought family and friends and even my celebrations here. I even love the table arrangements because it feels like everyone in the restaurant is a family eating together.The food is flavorful and the service has always been good. The portions are small compared to the price ,but my experiences has always been wonderful.

Ate so fast that we forgot to take pictures but LOVE this place so much! My partner is Dominican and showed me this restaurant, and we’ve never looked back. I dream about their Mofongo de Chivo all the time. The flavors are so good, I’ve had nothing like it anywhere else! Plus, Mio is such a wonderful waitress and encouraged us to try their homemade dessert, which was delicious!
Love this place and will definitely be back ☺️

The food is delicious, but now meal portions has been reduced a lot. Servers just worried about 18% obligatory tips.
Restaurant didn’t have a lot of clients when I went and servers keep distracting having a conversation to each other having the clients waiting a long time for the first loaf of bread that they put in the tablet. Even though bad service is given. They always want 22us or more tips.

Food was amazing and delicious. Never had Caribbean food before this was my first time Mio recommended the best things on the menu.
