Third time is the charm. Best pizza I've had in Charlotte. It's the real thing. Excellent crust, lots of sauce and good quality toppings. Will make it our go to place
The meatball sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Staff is always cool too. Love this place
Again a MOST OUTSTANDING CULINARY
EXPERIENCE!
We are so grateful.

On a road trip with my family 1/3 of us are gluten free due to celiac. We found this place on find me gluten free app and it’s the best pizza I’ve had in a minute. They had extensive gluten free options and everything we tried was delicious! Everyone was so nice and the place was clean too. I wish we lived closer because we’d be regulars!! The only way it could’ve been better is if they had more seating inside, but it was all amazing
The pizza was amazing, crispy with great cheese pulls. Only problem was that the garlic knots were just bread with cut up garlic clovers on it.
This isn’t the type of place that changes your world view on food, but it’s a great place to go to once and a awhile if you don't mind the summer heat!
Great food and service at their new location.
Only comment is that it was too hot inside being summer. The waitress indicated there are plans for an AC soon.
Finally got to a place I’ve been meaning to try for a while, Pure Pizza. They started out in 7th street market, moved to a place on Central and now found their forever home on The Plaza (Juli, the owner, said they bought the place, so they don’t have to rent anymore).
Pizza was great, top 5 in the Charlotte area for me!!! Kaiden and I split the Sloppy Don, which is extra sauce, extra cheese, extra pepperoni and extra black olives (I got my half minus black olives of course, since I’m a fan of the classic pizza- cheese and pepperoni only). Jen and Jeff got the wild mushroom pizza and really enjoyed theirs as well!
Unfortunately there was an issue with their system and our appetizers came out about a minute after our pizzas, so didn’t get to properly enjoy those, but they were very good once we got to them. Jen loved the Brussel sprouts, don’t see those at a lot of pizza places.
We had 5 in our party and the only options for sitting inside are 3 small two person tables, one counter/bar with 4 seats and another counter/bar with 4 seats. There are six picnic tables on the side, but there were quite a few bugs when we tried to sit there. Best seat is the large table on the porch by the entrance. Juli said they are working to get a way to enclose where the picnic tables are, so that will be awesome if they can get that worked out!
Drinks are by the can and there is a 3% surcharge for paying with a credit card.
All in all, great little place with a really nice owner, nice variety on the menu and great pizza! Easy parking as well! We will definitely be back!
I love this place was my go to getaway, I hate that this location has closed… wanted to know if this location will reopen or will it be a new location available soon?

The vegan pizza was not the greatest I was greatly disappointed about how expensive it was for what I got. The fact that they didn't melt the the spinach was weird.

Hole in a wall type place! Located off Central Ave. Friend and I decided to come for lunch. Arrived around 130ish, and the parking lot was EMPTY! you walk in, place your order at the counter, and then find a table, and they bring the food out for you. I ordered the chorizo personal pizza with Brussel sprouts. It was DELICIOUS! Pizza was made fresh, and the combination of chorizo with the radishes and lime they gave you gave it the extra kick! I definitely enjoyed that pizza and could've eaten the whole thing if I didn't stop myself. Brussel sprouts were flavorful. Grilled with all the spices, which made them flavorful and not just plain. The sanitation score was a bit low, 96.5, and the bathrooms had no soap in them and a broken toilet. Makes you wonder if the employees actually wash their hands if and when they use the bathroom. Superised at how it was empty when we came during lunch hour, which always makes me wonder what is wrong. Either way, my pizza was delicious, and I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items, but given the low sanitation score, I wouldn't come out of my way either. A big plus, though, they do have their own attached parking lot with PLENTY of parking spaces, which is always a plus, especially off Central Ave. Also, im not sure why this is coming up off The Plaza Rd. But this is located off Central Ave in front of Modish Nail Spa

Pizza is pizza, hard to mess that up. The prices are wild though. It's not artisanal, it's pizza with +$3.50 frozen gluten free dough and +$3.50 for 3 oz of vegan cheese, +2.50 for 4 artichokes. They know what they are doing.
The gluten free pizza is amazing!!

I remember when this location opened up. I would come here once a week and absolutely loved how crispy, flavorful, cheesy, and how fresh the topping was. But something has definitely changed. I get Covid happened, but that shouldn't change the pizza. I dined in and could barely eat 2 slices. The dough couldn't hold the thick cheese that was hard to chew and swallow. The crust isn't like before, and the cheese doesn't seem fresh. I'll continue to go to Geno's in 7th St Market, the original Pure Pizza.
