My first time visiting QC Roti Shop was a cool experience. With the help of a friendly staff member (over the phone, it's a ghost kitchen) I ordered a curried chicken roti with pumpkin and spinach. It was absolutely delicious, the portion was filling and more than generous. I'll definitely go back soon... Shrimp Roti up next!!!

Very authentic tasting roti and doubles. The food was great especially for someone who has had their fair share of Caribbean eats. The rotis remind me of a bajan roti, like what chefette used to sell you back in the 90s. THE BUILDING IS NOT A RESTAURANT! If you go pick this up, don't worry as the building is a multi use ghost kitchen for lots of DoorDash style delivery only foods. The food will have you saying cawblemma

We ate from this shop. Located inside South End eats . First it's a little strange to order from. There are several restaurants located within this building. You can't see or speak to anyone. That's the first alarm sounding in my head . There's kiosk's to order from. You order and they give you a time the order will be ready. Lockers for your orders? And 2 pick up your order station/boxes or whatever the hell it's supposed to be. That You use your phone to check in- on or get updates? All very confusing to me. Second alarm is the prices my god! We ordered what is supposed to be authentic Indian/guyanese/Trinidadian food?? When i saw the prices it was a turn off for me. $16 for a Curry Chicken Roti? And nothing else. No veg, rice, sauce, drink nothing! My sister ordered her roti and macaroni pie? ( somehow that is authentic! food it was 42.00! I will say it was hot when we received it. When I got home and looked at it was NOT worth $16 by no means. It tasted kind of bland. I have eaten many Roti's, had friends from Guyana. And my roots are West Indian. This is not Authentic! And for the prices it's not reasonable for what you get.

This restaurant is the real deal! I've ordered from them 3-4 times and the food is an absolutely delicious. This is the first time I have had truly authentic food in Charlotte just like what I grew up eating in the Caribbean. The doubles with slight pepper is perfect! The dhalpuri roti is ridiculously tasty, thin and light and yet so filling! I am not exaggerating when I say I shed a few tears of pure joy when I tasted the roti and curry! I felt like the food critic in the animated movie, Ratatouille, when he tried the food and it took him back to being a little boy in his mother's kitchen. The Guyanese Chinese Style Chicken and chowmein is so special... amazing flavor ... real Caribbean! The virtual restaurant is easy to order from and service is extremely efficient. I can wait to try the next item on the menu. I highly recommend Queen City Roti shop!

I think BBQ CHICKEN was mistakenly placed in my stew chicken roti. And the size of the potato implanted in my bbq chicken roti was the biggest potato I've ever seen in a roti. Because if the side it wasn't fully cooked. May just be too sweet for my liking. Not bad tasting, just not stew chicken I was thinking of. Likely cooked chicken then tossed in the sauce. The items added and paid for were missing. Pepper sauce, pumpkin. Not sure if the authenticity isn't here or if they are hoping to fool non natives or unawares. Reference point for our home natives of Grenada and Trinidad. Glad doubles offered. Service timely. Good portions very generous.

Best in uptown/south end area! Taking my parents there when they come to visit! Curry roti of any kind is delicious!

I am Guyanese American and originally from Queens, NYC. If you are from here, you are probably familiar with Richmond Hill and the area that is now known as "Little Guyana". There, you will find all sorts of restaurants serving authentic Guyanese food. I found out about Queen City Roti Shop recently and was excited as they are the only restaurant that I know of in Charlotte that serves Guyanese food. I tried their Guyanese-Chinese food (Chinese Fried Chicken, Chow Mein and Fried Rice) and it was on point!!! Highly recommend this place, especially if you are unfamiliar with Guyanese cuisine and would like an introduction.

If it were possible I would give this "restaurant" 1/2 star. We waited 45 mins for our food. The chicken was dry and inedible. The lomein and fried rice had no flavor. There was no human contact at all, the food was kept in a locker like at a bus station. I was never notified when the food was ready. I walked into the small lobby and a man behind a dirty glass partition told me that my food was ready.

Queen City Roti Shop has the most flavorful and authentic West Indian cuisines that vou'll find in Charlotte! I was honestly surprised at the depth of flavor in every bite. All of their dishes are made-to-order and their spices are personally hand-selected from all over the world! The masterminds behind these tasty dishes are a trio whose parents are from Cuba, Guyana, and Trinidad - Chris, Yasmin, and Faud. Their familial upbringings and early immersive experiences into the culinary world have cultivated unique experiences that have each become an integral part of the menu items served at QC Roti Shop.Their affordable prices allow the opportunity for everyone to try something from their menu! However,"value" is not the main draw - this is comfort food anyone could love - but it helps that the price-per-pound ratio tends to be outstanding. You won't find a more authentic experience than QC Roti Shop, I can promise you that.FEATURED MENU ITEMS:PholourieCurry Chicken Dhalpuri WrapsDoublesArroz Imperial (Imperial Rice)Jerk ChickenPLEASE NOTE: QC Roti Shop operates as a ghost kitchen within South End Eats, so there is no physical sit-in restaurant. You can either order from their website (qcrotishop.com) or on DoorDash. You can also order directly from their kiosk located at the front of South End Eats.OVERALL: ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN CHARLOTTE, check this place out!Follow @zackaryeats on Instagram for more NC foodie finds!

Love this ghost kitchen concept. We split one order of doubles and curry beef. Both were so flavorful and had the right amount of heat. Looking forward to trying more of their food!
