I’ve been a frequent customer of this shop, but tonight, April 1st, 2025, I Waited about 25 minutes for 2 cups of coffee, only to find out that their shaggy haired barista decided to put about half a cup of salt in my coffee. I guess that’s his idea of a prank, but I’m really not a fan of people tampering with my food and drink— sad to say, I won’t be returning.

Good coffee and macaron, the service was a bit slow cuz the employee were grouped up talking in the back. Idk if it was a meeting or what, but they didnt notice me fir a while and never spoke to me again cuz they were talking and turned away. They had loud heavy music playing which i really enjoyed but I'm sure others would not. It was loud enough I couldn't hear well and had to go outside to hear a phone call. I would get coffee there again, but the service wasn't the best so maybe grab and go. Idk it was later in the evening so maybe it's diferent during the day!

Parking: There's a lot immediately across the street but it says for ballet guild only

I've been a loyal QCG patron for years and always loved the variety of vegan options available. While the menu has clearly changed, and some of my favorites seem to have been removed, it's promising that I still see a few vegan BYO and wrap options that I plan to try in the future.
The biggest disappointment for me has been with the baked goods and pastries. This was always an area where I felt QCG excelled in providing vegan options, and it was always nice to stop in for a chai and a muffin on the way to work. When new management took over, it seems they stopped sourcing baked goods from Whisk & Wood, and after several weeks of no baked goods at all, they appear to be restocked, just with no vegan options. Because of the lack of vegan baked goods and being out of chai, I unfortunately walked out without purchasing anything on my visit this morning. I hope the new managers reconsider offering baked goods for their vegan customers who would like to continue to support a local favorite.

The food and coffee are pretty terrible. I don’t know how people actually come here for that. I do like the atmosphere for getting work done as it’s close to my job, but I wouldn’t recommend spending a lot of money here.

Used to love this place, lots of staff have left after new management, and it’s just very uncomfortable. They used to do a lot more activities and comedy…. Not anymore, i can tell it’s becoming not a friendly place.

Tragic!!! This was my favorite coffee shop at one point but everything changed. I seen a regular come in the other day and the owner and the staff were down right rude and disrespectful to him. I’ve seen this guy come for years and bring people and they had no regard for him at all . The food is different, the energy is bad, the servers have attitudes and the so called new owner is very condescending and doesn’t seem to care at all.

This place used to be great but isn’t the same since they came under new management. I’ve witnessed as a regular came in and was severely miss treated by staff and the manager after asking for agave in his tea… you heard that right. The customer didn’t raise his voice but the manager was condescending and was clapping talking about how he had just got there but never seen this regular who I’ve seen bring other people in, thus additional business. Smh. Do better, this instance and others have made me lose faith in my once adored coffee shop.

Go for the coffee NOT the food. Overall, the staff and atmosphere were great, my latte was very good, our Mango smoothie was good, and the food was poor. We had the bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel (only the filling was edible, the bagel was terrible) and the Belgian waffles. The waffles were not good and not fresh.
Took almost an hour to get our food. It ended up being very wrong. We had somewhere to be and couldn't wait another hour for it to be fixed. No manager there, so they couldn't refund it. They offered tokens? (Store credit). We aren't from the area. We ended up just having to take the food and deal with it.

Since new management/ownership has taken over my go to coffee spot is not the same. Wait times are too long it took over 20 minutes to get a single latte. I know this is due to high turnover and training new individuals but it seems no one is helping these new workers be able to manage multiple orders. My wrap was basically empty and fell apart when I picked it up. I used to love their pastries especially the cinnamon roll but for the past few weeks they have not had any pastries. Multiple times I have gone in and they have been out of whole and oat milk as well as food in the back. It is not the workers fault. New management needs to do better. I’m disappointed and hopeful they can pull through and make a come back.
