Get the doubles. Don’t think. Buy it. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Messy but so worth it.

The food was great. Reminded me of the Roti shop in Queens NY.

Great place for takeout or delivery. The food is fresh with very big portions. My favorite is the jerk chicken. The rice has great seasoning and is flavorful.

Very authentic tasting roti and doubles. The food was great especially for someone who has had their fair share of Caribbean eats. The rotis remind me of a bajan roti, like what chefette used to sell you back in the 90s. THE BUILDING IS NOT A RESTAURANT! If you go pick this up, don't worry as the building is a multi use ghost kitchen for lots of DoorDash style delivery only foods. The food will have you saying cawblemma

After years living in Charlotte I was so excited when I came across this roti shop. Usually I have to wait until I go to NJ to get some good West Indian food. The phulouries are fantastic. The dough had a slightly sour taste but the chutney made up for that. This maybe the only place in Charlotte to offer plulouries. The doubles are also off the hook or for Gen Z, they hit. You can taste the fresh Chadon Beni in every bite. Just one double alone will fill your tummy. I ordered the wrong roti so I wasn’t a fan of the Paratha Roti. It was tasty but I grew up on the Dhalpuri. Next time I will try that one. The jerk chicken could have used some spice, allspice, scotch bonnet pepper but again still tasty. Not a fan of this shared kitchen locker concept. West Indian food is about love and culture. It’s missing that familiar family feel where you smell the food, see the cooks and hear the sounds. Wish there were more desserts like black cake or kurmas but you can’t have it all.

We ate from this shop. Located inside South End eats . First it's a little strange to order from. There are several restaurants located within this building. You can't see or speak to anyone. That's the first alarm sounding in my head . There's kiosk's to order from. You order and they give you a time the order will be ready. Lockers for your orders? And 2 pick up your order station/boxes or whatever the hell it's supposed to be. That You use your phone to check in- on or get updates? All very confusing to me. Second alarm is the prices my god! We ordered what is supposed to be authentic Indian/guyanese/Trinidadian food?? When i saw the prices it was a turn off for me. $16 for a Curry Chicken Roti? And nothing else. No veg, rice, sauce, drink nothing! My sister ordered her roti and macaroni pie? ( somehow that is authentic! food it was 42.00! I will say it was hot when we received it. When I got home and looked at it was NOT worth $16 by no means. It tasted kind of bland. I have eaten many Roti's, had friends from Guyana. And my roots are West Indian. This is not Authentic! And for the prices it's not reasonable for what you get.

This restaurant is the real deal! I've ordered from them 3-4 times and the food is an absolutely delicious. This is the first time I have had truly authentic food in Charlotte just like what I grew up eating in the Caribbean. The doubles with slight pepper is perfect! The dhalpuri roti is ridiculously tasty, thin and light and yet so filling! I am not exaggerating when I say I shed a few tears of pure joy when I tasted the roti and curry! I felt like the food critic in the animated movie, Ratatouille, when he tried the food and it took him back to being a little boy in his mother's kitchen. The Guyanese Chinese Style Chicken and chowmein is so special... amazing flavor ... real Caribbean! The virtual restaurant is easy to order from and service is extremely efficient. I can wait to try the next item on the menu. I highly recommend Queen City Roti shop!
