Popcorn Chicken and Taro Smoothie never fail! Everything on the menu is freshly prepared once you order. Big shoutout to Don, Joseph and Logan. Great people! Greta food! ??
What are the Pina Colada Boba smoothie and some spring rolls. Rolls were fresh and the smoothie was even better. Highly recommend recommend when looking for a good tea bar. Will try the food next time cuz we'll be back!
This is where I was first introduced to Boba tea and my life has never been the same. I don't know how I lived without boba before this. I am addicted to it. I love it. It's absolutely amazing. Pure perfection. And I'm definitely not being hyperbolic. But really, Queen City Tea Bar has amazing boba tea and they also have really good Vietnamese iced coffee.

Never been here before and I’m from Gastonia, NC visiting Charlotte. This is a great place to get boba and not too far from where I was headed home. Great selection on boba teas and slushies. Really clean and nice customer service. The lady on the phone helped me find the location and was very kind to me. I appreciate their help! This is my Oreo slushie with boba. It’s so delicious and refreshing. Definitely reccomend!
So nice to have a good tea spot close to home. Great selection and you can mix and match and customize as much as you want. Also, if you have kids they can have a spin on their wheel to win prizes with a good report card. We won a free French fry and 15% off anything. Pretty cool way to make some kids proud too. Love this place for that.
Very very watery, good boba balls. The liquid part, is ????
I just happened upon this place and I was delighted to find there were delicious tea choices. The clerk was really helpful and offered great suggestions for my first milk tea experience. I really enjoyed the Lavender coconut oat milk tea. The interior of the Cafe is lovely and an enjoyable place to hang out. I delicious recommend a visit.
I normally get same drink from Share Tea and this local tea is on point, brilliant. Strong, nice scent and bitter roasted Oolong tea with milk and boba. The boba is bit soft for my taste.Highly recommend you guys order less sugar to get the full taste of drink.Pro: student and military discount
Not entirely sure how this place has a lot of good reviews.. my first time visiting and will be my last. I came in with questions about boba tea. Such as what one would taste similar to brown sugar, if they came sweetened, etc. The gentleman helping me gave me one word responses and just seemed like he didn't even want to be there. Overall, poor attitude.. not asking for all smiles but like I'm asking for your help.. My drink was pretty bland and I was really disappointed. Wasn't sweet at all, nor taste like brown sugar. Simply tasted like black tea with milk. The tapioca bobas also were so soft, denigrating, tasted like nothing. Snot constancy really. I asked my friend about it and he said that's not how my drink should've tasted at all. Hopefully other people get treated better than I did. Really am sad about this first experience. Will try elsewhere instead of Queen City..
I feel really bad for the girl at the counter, seems like the other three employees just don’t help. Drinks were terrible, no flavor and barely even a smoothie, had to grind the ice down with my teeth. These reviews are very confusing as maybe I caught it at a bad time? Maybe there is a secret door in the back where the good drinks and service are located?

The taro boba took our smoothies to another level! This is probably, by far, my favorite place for taro smoothies now in the CLT area. The staff was very friendly and very patient while we navigated their menu. The options here were fun and different from most. We will absolutely be back again every time we come back to this part of CLT. Thanks for a great experience and delicious boba!
Cute set up. However, I would not recommend if you desire a nutritional smoothie with real fruits and vegetables. I’ve never heard of a smoothie place that doesn’t serve a green smoothie.. there were no greens on site. Very telling. I watched the staff member make my smoothie and he literally was just scooping in what seemed to be flavored sugar or powdered versions of a banana or strawberry. I didn’t see actual strawberries go into the smoothie, it was this like jelly substance. No real fresh food for actual nourishment. I think their use of the term smoothie is misleading. It was so much sugar it gave my mom a headache. Thank goodness I stayed to watch them make the smoothie. I asked for oat milk and if I wasn’t standing there the young man would have given me whole milk which could be a major issue for someone who is plant based or vegan. I had turned away for a second and when I turned back I saw he was filling the smoothie with the red cap milk, which is whole milk. He had to do the smoothie over. The unfortunate part is that folks would order this, thinking they are doing good by ordering a smoothie and they’re really just getting flavoring, sugar, and whole milk. Not okay. Giving two stars because the two staff members were sweet and gentle. They’re just trying to do their job so this review is not a reflection of them but rather the owner’s business strategy on using the term smoothie as a buzz term but feeding people junk. That’s not okay.
Just what I need every time! I love boba milk teas and Queen City Tea Bar satisfies my cravings every time! My go-to is the Crazy Taro. Their food is also good. My husband and I have tried the chicken wings, fries, and short-ribs. Best of all, I love how it's a short trip from home.
I wish I can give this place a 10*Absolutely amazing. They have wide range varieties of tea and coffee with even greater range of flavors and toppings. Well bottomings since the toppings sink to the bottom. #dadjokeAnyways, staff is extremely friendly. This was the first time having boba tea for me. IK wth. The person that was taking order helped me very patiently (thank you and sorry lol), explained the ingredients and made the most amazing first boba tea of mine. I have gone to this place 3 days in the last 5 days.Keep up the good work QC Tea Bar!!
This is a great spot! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food and drink are really good! I wasn't expecting the food or smoothies to be any good at a tea place, but they were delicious. I just wish there were herbal tea options since I don't drink caffeine anymore. Will definitely come here again!
