Food was good. I recommend 8 stars.
Thank you.
went today after work first you can't see the food on line the glass are steamed up so you can view the food I ordered 2 pork chop dinners with collars and fried orkas, the collars were just ok pork chops ok but the orkas were dry and hard to the point of not chewable called the restaurant and the person only said is that ALL and hanged up, I will not spend another penny there.
Definitely a good restaurant. I had fried chicken and catfish, with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and collard greens as the sides. The chicken and mashed potatoes were good, but it was the catfish, collard greens, and Mac and cheese that really were great! The collard greens were seasoned very well and the catfish was well breaded (it didn't come off as I was trying to eat it). I will be coming back again for sure. Queen's Soul Food is a popular spot for comfort food that feels like home. The macaroni and cheese, greens, fried chicken, and fried pork chop are all delicious. The cornbread is so good it should be illegal! The atmosphere is welcoming, with friendly staff and a very clean environment. Kids work hard here, making the place lively and charming. The ox tails served over yellow rice, fried okra, and catfish are excellent choices. The ox tails are tender and flavorful, and the fried okra is crispy and tasty. The catfish is freshly fried and satisfying. The service is friendly and helpful, especially when ordering. Prices are very reasonable, offering great value for such quality food. The portions are large, and there is a good selection of desserts, including the best kool-aid. The place is a hidden gem that many enjoy. Visitors especially love the "me so cornbread boss" and the affordable prices. Overall, Queen's Soul Food remains a favorite for hearty, classic Southern dishes in Charlotte.
