I ordered jerk chicken mac and cheese and collard greens everything was sweet and he wanted to charge me for the jerk sauce separate to go on top of my chicken very disappointed

Food was good the first day, so I went back a second day but the wait after the rush was insane. I got my usual oxtails. They were pretty good along with the purple cabbage and greens!
I tried the lemon pepper wings but they were fried too hard and the seasoning wasn't really hitting the way I would have liked. Everything else was pretty good.

Besides the delicious food this place is worthless. The customer service or should I say the lack of is prevalent. The business hours say open and they’ll be closed and vice versa. It’s been multiple times I’ve called and placed orders only to get there and the door is locked and nobody will answer the phone when you get there. This place needs to be closed PERMANENTLY

Small West Indian restaurant, but the food is always on point. I absolutely love browns stew chicken, pumpkin rice and cabbage not many people can cook potato salad, but they got that down packed too when I wanna go for it all I had the mac & cheese and a chicken patty with cocoa bread if you like West Indian food you’ll like quidley’s

This is my second visit to Quidleys and I thought the food on my first visit was worth a second visit. However, thoroughly disappointed on the second visit. How hard is it to make a simple jerk chicken and rice and cabbage? So you get chicken, rice and 2 sides. I asked for two servings of cabbage as my side and got one. The rice was not bad but the jerk chicken was underdone, dry and under seasoned. After $33 for two plates, I won’t be back. Terribly inconsistent. Maybe what is needed is a new chef. I gave 2 stars but probably only worth one star.

Ordered and get there after ETA and food isn't started. Claimed to not having jerk chicken and the replacement curry chicken was nasty.

I’m convinced Quidley’s Delight is trying to ruin my life in the best way possible. This is my second time eating here, and let me tell you—I’m hooked. Sure, the prices might make you clutch your pearls for a second, but once you taste the food, you'll understand why it’s worth every penny.

Let’s talk about the oxtails. Tender, flavorful, and falling off the bone like they’ve given up on life. The buttered shrimp with rice and peas? A love letter to your taste buds. But the real MVP? That potato salad. It doesn’t just taste like potato salad; it tastes like a baked potato reincarnated into something even better. Who does that? Quidley’s, apparently.

The cabbage? Semi-sweet, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made by someone’s auntie who knows what she’s doing. I inhaled it so fast I’m pretty sure I didn’t chew.

I didn’t take a picture because I’m a big back (and no, I’m not ashamed), but trust me—this food is picture-worthy and then some. I can’t wait to go back and eat my feelings again. Quidley’s, you’ve officially got a forever customer.

I recently visited Quidley's Delight in Charlotte, NC, and was thoroughly impressed by their chicken and vegetarian offerings. The brown stew chicken was nothing short of spectacular. Tender, juicy, and bursting with authentic Caribbean flavors, it was cooked to perfection and left me wanting more. The rich, savory sauce was perfectly balanced with the right amount of spice, making each bite a delight.

On the vegetarian side, the candied yams were a standout. They were sweet, perfectly cooked, and provided a comforting, home-cooked taste that was both satisfying and heartwarming. The Mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent, with a rich cheese sauce that enveloped every bite of pasta, making it a must-try for any cheese lover.

The overall dining experience was elevated by the cozy, inviting atmosphere and the friendly, attentive staff. Quidley's Delight truly excels in delivering flavorful, high-quality dishes that showcase the best of Caribbean cuisine. If you're in Charlotte and looking for a place that offers amazing chicken and vegetarian options, Quidley's Delight is a must-visit!

I ordered Jerk Chicken and the chicken was hard and dry. The flavor tasted somewhat like burnt bbq chicken. One piece was black like almost like coal. They mixed ribs in with my chicken and that was not what was ordered because it was supposed to be chicken. My cabbage had very little veggies in it. It mostly contained onions and other ingredients and was very greasy. Overal, I was very disappointed with my food.😒

If I could give a zero star I would , I went to this place yesterday my cousin brought me along with her it my FIRST time there . We ordered over the phone when we arrived I didn’t know they had brown stew chicken so I wanted that instead of barbecue chicken because I thought it was barbecue JERK chicken because we literally said it over the phone . As my cousin was paying for her food I asked the woman if it was too late or could I order brown stew chicken instead , she looked at me with the nastiest attitude and said “ it’s already made “ . Yes I understand the food was already made but I didn’t want that I wanted to pay for something I was going to actually eat not something just because she didn’t feel like making something else .Then not only that my cousin asked for two sides over the phone they only gave her one and when my cousin went back in to let them know she only received one side the lady replied “ I only heard you say one side over the phone “ when the meal comes with two instead of preventing conflict it’s like this lady wanted something to happen !! I’m so glad this was my first time here I dodged a bullet spending my money into nasty customer service . maybe if you had a better team you would be more packed then usual hope all goes well !

I visited this wonderful place for the first time yesterday. God-willing it won’t be my last!
After the first taste of my oxtails entree, and then sampling his barbecue chicken, I told my frat brother who accompanied me: “I’m gonna be spending some money here today!” ?

Without being able to finish the huge portion of my dish, I ordered and left with escovitch fish, curry shrimp, and my own barbecue chicken. I am gloriously eating my way through these meals, and enjoying equally as delicious sides of rice and peas, potatoe salad, mac and cheese (real mac and cheese ?). cabbage, and plantain.

THIS is tops for me when it comes to the authentic Jamaican food I’m accustomed to enjoying in New York when the original spices from the mother country invade your palate and bring satisfaction.

Soooooo, sooooo good and reasonably priced with great portions.
