Place was a little pricier than I normally go for, but the food & wait staff were exceptional. Had the Vietnamese Rice (spice level 4) & some spring rolls. It was rly good. I'd take someone there.

I had a really good experience at Rai Lay Thai. The service stood out right away because our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. My wife and I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the pad thai, and both dishes were delicious. The sweet and sour chicken had a great balance of flavors, and the chicken was cooked just right—crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. The pad thai was flavorful, with just the right amount of sauce and perfectly cooked noodles.

What really impressed us was how quickly the food came out. It was served hot and fresh, which made it even better. The portions were generous, and the prices felt reasonable for the quality we got.

The restaurant has a nice, comfortable atmosphere, making it a good spot for either a quick meal or a relaxed dinner. If you’re a fan of Thai food, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for tasty, fresh food with great service.

They give you very little for what you pay. Very expensive for such a small amount.

Amazing food and great service. Every employee we interacted with was so warm and welcoming. I’m glad we ordered the medium (2) spice level, it was delicious and had a great taste of heat. Best Kao Soy and Pad Thai I’ve had in a while.

This was the best Khao Soi I ever had (and I had a few in my life ;)). The curry was super creamy and flavorful, the noodles tasted very fresh and the portion was huge. Service was great too, would highly recommend this dish!

Lace was busy when we arrived so expected a wait. It was 15 min. Not bad. After being seated an placing full order our appetizer arrived. Then we sat for 30 minutes waiting for our food. After several people had been seated and served their entree. Finally we summoned someone over and we were told our order wasn’t placed. Beyond frustrating and needless to say appetite ruined. A weak apology was as offered.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Charlotte. The food is excellent and unlike most restaurants have kept pricing very fair. In addition, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.

I go here often and the customer service is the best I’ve ever gotten from any restaurant. Everyone is so kind and extremely accommodating. Aileen is amazing with guests and always makes sure you have what you need. There’s a very nice young guy with brown hair who has the best costumer service I’ve ever received, he went above and beyond for me. Definitely recommend for the amazing food and exceptional servers and hosts
