We decided last minute to meet for dinner & realized it was Charlotte Restaurant Week. I was pleased to easily get reservations. The restaurant was simple to find, parking was plentiful, and when we arrived, we were immediately taken to our table. Garrett was our attentive, sincere server. He did a great job taking care of us. I didn't have a cocktail, but the cocktail menu looked good, and there were several I would like to try. We ordered from the restaurant week menu. The food was absolutely delicious! I had a chopped salad as an appetizer, and the portion size was perfect. My daughter had the spinach queso, which was large enough for the table to share, and it was so yummy! My entree was blueberry pecan salmon, bacon & cheese grits, and broccoli. Every bite was fantastic. The dessert options were limited to brownie à la mode or coconut cake. We got one of each. The coconut cake was awesome. The brownie was good, but nothing special, other than being very big. They have many other desserts, but those weren't available for the restaurant week options. Still 10/10 This was my first visit, and I will definitely go back.
We go often and there is consistently good food and service. Always have issue when salmon ordered well done. Repeatedly goes back for more cooking. Waitstaff always friendly and helpful. Food is easily individualized (no sauce, for example, extra this or that) for picky eaters. It used to be one could drop in but now reservations are necessary even for lunch.
Red Rocks always delivers! Comfort food at its finest. Service is always great. Nice lively atmosphere!
This is our “go to” restaurant. The menu is quite broad, food is uniformly very good, and the service is excellent.

I had the Spinach Vegetable Salad with bacon dressing And added sirloin to it. It was to die for. The mixture of flavors was terrific Keep up the good work, Red Rocks
Food was decent at best. Dining room had boxes everywhere. My son and I were the only people who decided to dine in out of the other 3 groups of people. Service was not bad.

I live out of state and every time I’m in town I have to stop at Red Rocks. The food is always delicious and the service is impeccable. The manager always treats us with kindness and Spencer, our server, goes above and beyond to make our evenings special. Grateful for this establishment. Will be coming back again and again.

The food was good, the service was great, and the place has a nice, casual atmosphere. I had filet medallions with a lobster tail. The food was cooked well. My wife had a specialty salad, and she was very happy with that. This was a much better experience than my first time there. I would go back again. Just short of getting that 5th star.
Matthew was our server he was an excellent host. The food was prepared wonderfully and he suggested a dessert which was cheesecake delectable. Definitely will ask for him the next visit. God bless

I want to begin by saying that my wife and I used to love coming to Red Rocks. The service and food used to be very good and it was the reason that we've continued to come back. The last two visits have been disappointing. Last year during Queen's Feast, I ordered steak and the meat almost tasted artificial. It was very cheap and rubbery. On this visit, we've ordered drinks with our dinner. My wife ordered a glass of Lamarca prosecco, turns out it was a cheaper brand that they didn't think we would notice, and I've ordered a Manhattan, which tasted like a premix syrup, and they added club soda to top off the glass, I guess to make it appear to be a full cocktail (A real Manhattan is 2oz of whiskey, 1 oz sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of bitters). This sort of cost cutting and deception is not acceptable to me. I'm sure the majority of their customers don't mind paying a little extra for quality and consistency. The food this round was just ok, but it's just not worth a return trip. If you still go and order a drink, order a beer from a bottle. This is something that they can't water down and cut corners on.

Had a wonderful lunch for me staff today at Red Rocks Cafe. We were served by Matthew who was very attentive, answered all our questions and made great menu recommendations! He was great! The food was delicious! The only drawback … we were seated in an outdoor but enclosed area with nice toasty heaters and I think they turned the heaters off when we were seated. My feet were a little chilly when we left.

In addition to their great food, what sets Red Rocks - Charlotte apart is the amazing service. It is obvious the staff mimics the managers in attention to detail, friendliness and exceptional service. One of our favorites!

Terrible service. Steak was tough and chewy, hard to swallow. Could’ve cooked something better at home in comparison. The wait was too long to be seated and found cat hair on my plate.

Excellent experience!! Food was great! Staff was above and beyond! I’m new in town and this is my first time here and I must say, I’ll be back again and again, because I’m left with wanting to try everything on the menu!
I got a dirty martini, filet and lobster. And my parter got a filet with coconut shrimp. All superb!
We took 3 different desserts home and happy we did!
Thank you Red Rocks staff for an excellent first experience. You now have a regular.
And might I add, this is a family owned establishment, not a chain. Kudos to you all!
