Red Rocks Cafe: Strawberry Hill in South Park

We had another great dinner at Red Rocks, enjoying the covered patio on a nice evening Austin our waiter did an awesome job serving us that evening (Thur 9/4/25). He was pleasant, response, and helpful.  My wife's filet medallion dish was cooked just right, and my Cajun Flounder was an enjoyable change of pace. All at a fair price. Thanks for a nice evening.

Wonderful dinner for the six of us...in the back room was perfect. Ravi (and team) took excellent care of us. Very enjoyable evening!

The food was incredible both the almond crusted mahi as well as the blackened mahi. Had my favorite she crab soup delicious as always, and chocolate lava cake always a favorite. Our waitress was fantastic! I was visiting with my sister from out of town and it's on her list to visit next time she's here!

Always love Red Rocks! The menu is varied, has something for everyone and I've never had a meal that's not tasty! The service is dependably good, the servers friendly and on point.

Elegant ambiance, manager and service were attentive and warm. Jambalaya was delicious and the blackened seafood salad was perfectly prepared, I just wish it contained more vegetables such as cucumbers and tomatoes and onion. I swapped cucumbers for the cheese so as to achieve closer to what I wanted, but didn't feel comfortable adding the additional two vegetables. I ordered the Asian dressing on the side, which is amazing!

Service was impeccable; food was perfect; desserts were to die for! No wonder Red Rocks has been a go-to dining experience in Charlotte for years. They do it all right all the time!! Don't leave until you have enjoyed a slice of their coconut cake!

Broad menu that is consistently delicious. We have tried many different things on the menu and have never been disappointed with our choice. Terrific variety. Also, the outside dining area is pleasant and quieter than the inside restaurant. Service is always attentive and efficient.

My wife and I had dinner with my 92 YO mom. It was a bit noisy for her to be able to carry on a conversation. But otherwise,the pasta dishes were delicious, the wine was very good and the service was great!

Friendly and efficient service. Good food with great desserts. Large portions. Buzzy, but quiet enough to hold a normal conversation.

Disappointed with service tonight. Usually good, but tonight, not so much. I have food allergies and when a salmon filet tasted as if it had butter on it, it took 4 requests to 3 people, including the manager, to get an answer. The manager said that they take food allergies seriously, but their actions did not demonstrate that tonight. As the manager had not gotten back with me either before my second prompt to him, the professional thing to do would be to comp something after 20 minutes of waiting for an answer - another miss.

Everything was great but I am VERY disappointed that you no longer serve your incredible brownie. I will not be visiting as often, as I come many times to only get a brownie.

We love having Sunday brunch at Red Rocks! The food is delicious, the Menu is varied including the Brunch Menu.

The food was amazing. I recommend the spinach dip appetizer, and the fillet medallions if you love carrot cake that's the way to go with dessert 

I enjoyed the chopped house salad, crab stuffed flounder and dessert. Waiter was very friendly and responsive.

We had the chopped salad and She crab soup appetizers which were excellent with the 2 twin filets steak entrees which were cooked perfectly a very tender. The chocolate cake and carrot cake were delicious. The service was excellent.
