Stopped by Redeye Diner in Charlotte this morning and grabbed breakfast to go and wow, they knocked it out of the park!
I went with the breakfast sandwich on sourdough, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The sourdough was perfectly toasted, the fillings were generous, fresh, and flavorful — a sandwich that doesn’t skimp and definitely doesn’t disappoint. Every bite was a warm, savory hug for my taste buds.
Now, let’s talk about the grits. These weren’t just good — they were life-changing. Creamy, rich, and seasoned like someone in the kitchen has a secret Southern grandma whispering instructions over their shoulder. Easily the best grits I’ve ever had. I’d come back for those alone.
Quick, friendly service, food that travels well, and flavors that’ll have you planning your next visit before you finish the last bite. Redeye Diner just became my new breakfast MVP.

Came here with a friend late at night after a concert, service was very quick and friendly and words cannot describe how awesome their food is for the price. The burgers are better than five guys and cost half the price!! 11/10 highly recommended this place if you’re in the area
We went during the after concert rush and they did not disappoint. Food was hot and cooked to perfection. Everything came out quickly. Can’t beat the value either.
