I went to this restaurant with four of my friends, and unfortunately, the experience was terrible from start to finish. Our waitress, Christina, acted irritated with us from the moment we sat down, even though we were simply laughing and joking like any normal group of friends out enjoying a meal.
Instead of talking to us or giving any kind of warning, the restaurant called the police on us and kicked us out. We were all shocked — nothing inappropriate happened, and we were never asked to quiet down or told there was an issue. It felt completely unprovoked and unprofessional.
As we were leaving, Christina made a rude comment toward us, which only confirmed how poorly we were treated. The lack of communication, respect, and basic customer service was unbelievable.
I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re just trying to have a fun, normal night out with friends. There are plenty of restaurants that actually appreciate their customers — this is definitely not one of them.

I’ve lived in Charlotte for almost 10 years and one of our favorite reasons to come to RedEye/ Midnight Dinner was the fact that they are 24/7 hours. My friends and I came in to order around 5:30 am. And was told by both establishments that they are only doing to go orders. We were instructed to wait and/or place our orders online. All servers seemed irritated we were here and acted like they didn’t want to help us. We asked why we couldn’t be seated and was told they only do To-Go after midnight and would resume dine-in at 7am. We continued to be ignored as we waited to place our orders Togo. After placing our orders we now waiting for our food a group of 3 white people came in at 6:15 and was immediately sat and waited on. It’s completely rude and disrespectful. We specified we did not mind waiting. They where uninterested in serving us or acknowledging they lied to us all because of a “shift change”.

Absolutely atrocious hostess with the worstest attitude EVER. I told her it was just me and she said go sit at the bar. exactly like that. I requested to sit in a booth, more comfortable as I had just gotten off of work and did not want to hunch over in one of those stool seats.
She REFUSED to understand what I was asking for which was pretty common plus I’m kind of a half regular at the location. Just downright rude.

How are you in the metro and can't handle a night when the town is virtually a ghost town? I went to the diner at 1030pm and it was a line outside the door. I look at inside and it was nothing but empty seats and employees everywhere. After waiting 20 minutes I went back to my hotel upstairs and just opted for door dash. After 30 min the Dasher arrived waited and just left because they didnt have it ready. Someone needs to buy that prime retail space because I dont know what they would do when the Hornets games come to town. They are virtually across from the arena. Wish I could tell you if the food is good.

First time coming i had a taste for chicken tired of the simple chicken places you at everyday let's just say this will be my deserted island I can go to myself shhhh don't tell my family reasonable prices 4 cheese Mac n cheese gr8 n that butter milk biscuit reminded me of this lady that used to make biscuits when I was a wee lad so far so good there's plenty on the menu to keep me coming back for more
