Food and service is fantastic.

Also nice that it won't get so crowded and loud.

Only downside is having a defined end time for dinner but this is understandable. We know the restaurant needs to turn over that table. Everyone was very accommodating.

It was our first time dining here and we had an 8:30 reservation. Our table wasn’t ready until about 8:50 and they have no waiting area or even a bench so we had to stand by the door for 20 minutes. The hostess did ask if we wanted drinks while we stood there, so we ordered some. Once we were finally seated, it was the table next to the bathroom…The hostess mentioned as she seated us that each table has a 90 minute time limit but said that we didn’t have to worry about that - since we were the last reservation of the night it seemed. Kind of odd to mention the time limit considering our table was not ready until 20 minutes past our reservation time. Our server brought us free bluefin tuna nori wraps to make up for the wait. Not something we would usually order since we don’t prefer raw fish but it had good flavor. Nothing else was discounted on our bill. Got the Dear Rosemary mocktail that had good flavor but had big sprigs of rosemary that aren’t ideal to sip. Also ordered the Moonlight Mile mocktail which had a very faint flavor so would skip that one for $13 price tag. Ordered arancini to start which were pretty looking but the filling didn’t have much flavor. My scallop entree was good and probably my favorite bite. My husband’s short rib dish wasn’t very warm and it was a little too smoky and heavy. The blueberry shortcake biscuit had potential but the biscuit itself didn’t seem fresh and didn’t have much flavor. The chocolate miso tart was somewhat enjoyable. Spent $248 total. Wish we loved our experience for that price but unfortunately we will not be planning another visit.

First time visiting Restaurant Constance after hearing all the chatter. Definitely enjoyable and will return. Space is as cozy and casual as expected (former Counter 1.0); noise level was reasonable (although most tables were 2 people rather than the 4 that might be seated so noise level might increase if full) and background music pleasant and reasonably contemporary. In-restaurant menu mostly matched the web site and no real surprises (they do a 3 course for $65 on Tuesday and Wednesday it seems and a very approachable wine and non-alcoholic cocktail list). Really enjoyed the Chicken Wraps and Scallops although the Pork Loin was just a smidge on the dry side in the center. They do have a shorter (90 minute) standard seating duration which they maybe "over emphasized" (even to giving us dessert menus during the main course only about 45 minutes into the meal). Overall, other than maybe a little more subtlety indicating the seating duration that is not much we would suggest and look forward to seeing how the menu changes with the seasons.

Parking: Parking available in immediate lot but as more businesses open in the area may become more difficult. When we visited it seemed the Event Center and Taco Restaurant and City Kitch nearby all had activity.

The entire experience at Restaurant Constance blew me away. The music, decor, and atmosphere were perfect for a date night dinner, and the service was top-notch. I have dietary restrictions and the waitress was kind enough to take the menu and come back with notes on which menu items could be accommodated and which ones I should avoid. There were still so many delicious items to enjoy (egg- and dairy-free) and we honestly cannot wait to return! The food was spectacular, as well as my NA cocktail.

Restaurant Constance was a great place to go for a special occasion! Our table was ready for us when we arrived. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable when we asked questions about how the menu. The ambiance was relaxing, the tables were not over crowded and you could hear what your table mates were saying. The food had a great presentation, from the surviving platters to the sauces. Everything tasted like it was cooked with a culinary experience in mind.

I had a reservation for tonight at 7:30pm with a confirmation text and email. When I came to the restaurant they told me this was cancelled. I have no cancelation email, text or call. They made no offer of accommodation.

Reservations highly recommended. It’s a small place with limited seating. Parking lot - free.
Farm to table - however they are sourcing from places all over. I like the creativity and the food was very flavorful.
The naan is surprisingly amazing. Not the traditional naan from any Indian restaurant, but a soft, fermented piece. Great supplemental side for any entrees.
Dessert was impressive as well. The caramel served as a good addition to the cake. The tiramisu was pretty dense.
Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested drinks for us as well. We went with non alcoholic beverages and they were great.

Dinner at RC is a lovely experience. The food is farm to table, served in an intimate and inviting setting. Service is great and the pacing of dishes was on point.

We were pleasantly surprised to find out they had just released a new seasonal menu on our visit as well. Two of us split three small plates, a salad, one entree, and a dessert. Every ingredient in each dish is intentional with flavors and textures coming together nicely.

My guess is you can’t go wrong with anything here. I would recommend everything we had with the hamachi being my favorite if I had to choose:
Kombu-Cured Hamachi Sashimi
Korean Fried Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Pork Belly Pupusa
Chopped Local Bibb & Radicchio Salad
Sake Marinated Swordfish
Blueberry Ginger Shortcake

Chef Sam is not only a great culinary artist, but also such a nice, down to earth guy. Good luck on the James Beard nomination. RC is already a winner in my book!

We held a corporate dinner here and loved our experience from beginning to end. Chef Sam and his staff were knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. We especially loved when Chef Sam came out and did a live demo and gave us his background. Thanks again for a wonderful event.

For starters - Wow, I am just blown away by how personable the experience feels. The design, farm to table, and atmosphere. Everything was unique, savory, and fun simultaneously.

The service was incredible, filled with stories and details about not just the process but the local ingredients sitting in front of us.

The food was phenomenal, I've never seen so many different dishes and ideas, melded so well together, every bite was an adventure.

Lastly, it was fast. It felt like only seconds had gone by before it was right in front of us.

Make a reservation! Otherwise you might miss out on this wonderful experience!
