Restaurante Deli La Union

We dined in family of 4 and were overcharged the pricing was nowhere to be found to confirm what we were charged. The lady behind the counter told us we had not paid a portion of our food, when asked to go through pricing they stated we had been given they listed food we never got (they never addressed this issue when we calculated) When we calculated the food I asked her to show me the total and she never complied after we had finished calculating she conveniently added more calculations into the calculator to give a total just shy of our original total. We paid the remaining balance and left.
The pupusas we were served were nothing like the pictures in other reviews it was essentially a glob of masa and other ingredients. Excessive oil and definitely undercooked. Which was a bummer since we love them so much. There is little to no “service” The restaurant is essentially self serve and self clean up.

The food was good, and the "mom and pop restaurant" look was nice. Lady serving could have at least cracked a smile or said "welcome" or something. What we didn't like was that breakfast came out to almost $55. We were mind blown at how 2 adults with full plates, 2 drinks, and 1 toddler with a chicken leg, rice, and juice came out to so much in a hole in the wall restaurant. Also, a family of 3 adults and 1 child right behind us with similar size plates and drinks came out to $40 something, so that just blew our mind further.

My friend got corn fried tamales were dry I got arroz pollo frito chicken tamale no I found no meat tasted and looked like it sat all day no very much to choose I’ve been been last night and all day today I DONT recommend this place I’m surprise there still open

The food is very delicious but the cashier is very bad-mouthed and doesn't want to go back, they deal with those people like that ☹️

The food is good, but the service is totally bad, they serve you as if you were going to beg for food... I think having a dog's face is a requirement to work there.
