Went in for brunch and it was my birthday so we were in the mood for some seafood we are so glad we did. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable and had some great recommendations. Bummed I failed to get his name but he mentioned he is a bartender too. Oysters were fresh, drinks were delish and well balanced. The cheesecake is amazing ? thanks for a great birthday brunch RockSalt!

Incredibly disappointed in ROCK SALT. From the beginning the restaurant had a terrible oder that made it very uncomfortable to sit inside. Waiters weren't attentive and when they were, they did not properly go over the menu. I ordered one dish and a completely different one was brought out. The restaurant claimed they would remove this dish but then ended up charging it in a forced 22% gratuity($50.00) for a small party of three. During the meal I had to send back dessert that came out at the incorrect time twice while people were eating.

Despite what is said, people expect staff to go over every aspect of the menu and not rely on any written information. You do nothing with returning at the end after giving me a $300.00 bill to show me a portion on your menu that you failed to explain.

I don't believe my family and I will be returning due to terrible service and unclear and incorrect costs.

Felt like the waitress Kayla wasn't comfortable serving our table. There were only 3 tables (including us). We felt rushed to order, finish, pay and leave. Not the greatest experience, I'llprobably will not return. The seafood pasta was delicious, and the oyster special is very good.

I had the Surf & Turf off of the restaurant week menu. It was pretty good, the mash could've used a dash of salt and my steak was undercooked but that was remedied quickly and the service was amazing.

I was extremely disappointed in our meal at RockSalt. It may have been an off night, but we were the only people in the entire restaurant. I'm not sure they had anyone else there all night. Because of this, my Aperol Spritz was made with a bottle of prosecco that had been opened for some time. There was no "spritz" to it. The oysters were very good, but that is where it ended. The salads were tiny & unimpressive. The ceasar was "grilled" but that only served to make it wilted. My partner had the scallops, in which there were 3. I had the Mahi Mahi but it was overcooked & therefore dry & tough. All of this for the price of $50/person seemed excessive. And then when the check arrived, it had a 22% gratuity already added for Restaurant Week. That is fine for a party of 6 or more, or if it had been disclosed at the beginning. With an already steep price tag for subpar food, that was just the finishing kick to the stomach. Do not recommend, even on a regular night/menu.

We participated in the Queen Feast 2024 summer. It was $50 a person. This was way over priced should have been $25-$30 person. The $50 did not include the dessert that was another $6?!?!? Most other restaurants included the dessert. I understand queens feast is a set menu but this restaurant refused to make any substitutions even for allergies. The daily special blackened mahi came with some kind of coconut rice, my husband is allergic to they would not swap it for another side and also acted as if it was an inconvenience to put the rice on the side in a bowl... we sat down right @6:30pm and was not served the main course until 8pm. It was nice the weather was perfect but an hour and an half to be served is a long time. Plus we were outside and the flies were terrible!! They did forget to bring mine and my husbands 2nd drinks and when they finally did bring them they didn't charge us for them which was nice. They also gave us a military discount which we appreciated but, they also automatically added in the gratuity. It was a meal of $160 for 2 and 2 of the drinks were free. Just way over priced for what we received and the unwillingness to accommodate allergies will keep us away from this place in the future.

Two of us went to the first night of restaurant week and were delighted by the food and the service. The grilled and raw oyster plates were marvelous. The gazpacho was great. The salad was fine but nothing outstanding. The whole Black Sea bass on saffron rice was worth writing home about. Lovely evening!

I was not impressed. The drink special was hot and ugly looking. Took ten minutes to get it. No the place was hardly busy. The side dishes sat in the window with waitress and short order cook talking and flirting over them while she threw her braided hair around. 5 minutes later the main course appeared in the window. Crab cakes she loved them.

I had an excellent dining experience at RockSalt. The food and drinks were superb. The service and the manager were attentive and welcoming. The environment was relaxing, with great music in the background. Indoor and outdoor seating options were perfect.

Good oysters. Great happy hour specials. The rest of the menu is OK. The clam chowder is not like most and it was really good. Crab cake way too salty.

Just left rocksalt and have nothing but 5 stars on the entire experience. Excellent service from the hostess, server, and manager. We had fantastic oysters, tuna, & crab cakes. Excellent patio with shade and fans - highly recommend.

This is an oysters restaurant.. yes, they have other dishes, but the oysters is their dish . If you love oysters wed. Is your night 1/2 off !! That said, their oysters are already below market at $2.50 .Melissa our waitress was outstanding ! She did a wonderful job . She was always around when needed and handling all our needs. Again great job . That said cooks need to take in account in pasta the salt in the pot cooking pasta and the salt of the dish . The pasta was to salty .
Grits in shrimp and grits need time to cook, and if you taste them, they will yell at you I need more time . Maybe cream or half and half and cheddar cheese . Was it good yes could it be off the charts good yes .. this restaurant is a take our time and enjoy the the meal restaurant . During the week this restaurant closes at 9pm in the summer months that's a little early .. so get there and enjoy a very good meal ..

We went here for a date night, we ordered ceviche and it hadn’t been prepared correctly and after we asked about it the manager came out and was like yeah the chef didn’t let it cure properly. So we could have gotten really sick, the oysters were also let out for a while as we came right after oysters happy hour ended… I won’t go back

So so disappointed in Rocksalt. Dined on a Tuesday. Employees all on drugs smoking outside, one definitely high on something else. Food was ok but couldn’t overlook the drug deals and use. Really people!
