I went with a group tonight. The service was excellent and the food came out quickly. I had hanger steak which if you are lucky you will find in a grocery store but most likely you will not. It is a tender piece that is quite delicious. They had a nice light sauce with it. I shared brussel sprouts with a friend. They were roasted and had a crunchy flavorful topping. Roosters always delivers in my experience consistently excellent food. I ordered for takeout a velvet cake with chocolate mousse. It was yummy. It looked besutiful. How can you lose with sugar and chocolate? We had a great experience and will be back!

I got the chicken sandwich. I paid premium price for terrible quality. I’ve paid half as much for a chicken sandwich twice as good at a bar in uptown. Really disappointed how rubbery and undercooked it was.

Beautiful space. Extremely slow service! Salty proteins. (And I’m heavy handed with salt) Not a restaurant for kids.We had a 5:45 reservation and our food did not arrive until 6:55 after prompting the hostess for support. Management passed multiple time but never checked in even after we got his help for missing food.I couldn’t tell if the slow service was a passive aggressive way to say you aren’t welcome here with a toddler or if there was an actual problem. We were not disruptive at all and found ways to pass the time respectfully.At the very least we would have appreciated our child’s food brought out first, an update while we waited, or just acknowledgement from management.Kid-friendliness: Do not be fooled by the colored pictures by kids hanging in the window or the fact that they have high chairs. If your kid isn’t ready to sit though a 90 minute meal minimum, then this is not the place to take them.

My husband and I visited tonight for our anniversary and we couldn’t have been more impressed! We had the braised short rib (super tender) and rotisserie bbq chicken (also very tender and so flavorful) ! The service was top tier. Our server Marques made our experience so great, we want him when we come back! Amazing! 10/10 definitely recommend.Also the atmosphere is super romantic!
