We are beyond thrilled with our experience with Roots Catering! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but we also received so many compliments about their incredibly kind and professional staff. Megan was phenomenal. So organized and on top of our very fluid and delayed program, which gave us such peace of mind. The wait staff went above and beyond (one even offered us their lighter when ours ran out!), which speaks volumes about their thoughtfulness and service. Roots exceeded our expectations in every way, from organization to execution. Highly recommend them for any event!

WE LOVED ROOTS! We had a black tie wedding and we did our due diligence to find a catering team in NC that was elevated and outstanding food. Not one person complained about food rather they complimented that this was the best wedding food they’ve ever had and we have a hard crowd to please as everyone is out of state from bigger cities with high expectations. From the start Alyssa made us feel cared for and went above and beyond. The team onsite was so accommodating and worked fast. All the food was flavorful and hot when served. Exactly like the tasting. As someone in the wedding industry they paid attention to the details and I appreciate that. 10/10 and will be using them again in the future for our bigger events!

Roots provided heavy hors d’oeuvres for a party at my home for about 80 people. The delivery and food were both great. Customer service and communication leading up to the event was great. Setup was timely and done well. The food tasted amazing — got lots of compliments from guests and there wasn’t a crumb left at the end of the night.

I had a great experience hosting a private birthday dinner at Roots Cafe using their catering. From the beginning, they were easy to work with and prompt in communication. They helped me talk through different options for my plated dinner and made some great suggestions. I spoke with a couple different people leading up to the event and each person was up-to-speed and informed on even the smallest details of my event. The night of the dinner, Roots had everything prepared on time and I received so many compliments on the food and drinks served. I would definitely recommend using Roots Cafe for your private event, they have a great team and helped create a magical evening for my celebration!
