Just received our first time order via DoorDash & I wish I would’ve read the reviews first! Meatloaf dinner was supposed to come with mashed potatoes but received hard rice kernels; collards- bland & Mac was dry & crumbly— absolutely no cheese pull at all! The fried wings had a pretty crispy looking coating, however, only seasoning tasted was garlic; yellow rice- hard & bland; broccoli casserole- very mushy (gave purée or baby food). Def not the soul food taste that I was looking for or use to! $55 wasted!! #First&Last

0 stars. We ordered 2 dinner and 2 sides. Neither side came. ($10). Total was $68. The chicken was dry n overcooked. We ordered Honey hot, there was no sauce on either, nor on the side The Mac was burnt on top, greens were dry. We were supposed to get cornbread the two meals...we did not! I normally read the reviews first, I failed this time. I do not recommend. I will also be leaving a review on City Kitch.

Drove about 16 mins to place for honey garlic salmon, greens and mac. The salmon was dry, the greens were powdery and tasteless, and the mac was overly oily and bland. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The best part of my meal was the cornbread. The wings were not good at all, too much garlic! The macaroni was bland and the collard greens lacked seasoning. Complete waste of money.

If I can give 0$ I would idk what happened but the value goes down for me ..I spent a good 70 bucks or so on food that didn’t come with love whoever cooked it sure was ready to go home from the time they walked in.. listen when I say the yellow rice tasted like Goya box rice with extra seasoning,. I mean extra lol the yams was mid nothing extravagant.. macaroni tasted like it was drenched in old bay and shrimp flavoring wasn’t sure what was going on there but keep it regular 0/10 … and the chicken basic y'all was better off taking the seasoning invested into the rice and putting that in the meat … I’m all set yall won’t get my money nomore … there was nothing honey garlic about that chicken … definitely tangy tho that’s it I also Doordashed the food add up the fees lol plates worth 15$ if that charging 6.50 for sides is ridiculous Jamaican food give you more for that … oh cornbread dry thrown at the bottom of the bag where it begins to get soggy due to heat and drained juice from yams and Mac sauce lol just bs

Whoever told her that the food was unseasoned…. She took this to heart. Because the food was sooooo salty. I felt like I was about to have an instant stroke. Absolutely ridiculous and for the price point!!! I wonder are you tasting your food before you serve it??!? Because there is no way I feel if you had you would serve this. I ordered the smothered turkey wings and if it hadn’t been so expensive I would have tossed it but I tried to recook it and soak it in water to pull out some of the salt. I will never be back. Food this salty is dangerous. 0/10

came 2 time and they were closed before 12 if you can’t stay open too 12 change you’re hours and then the food was salty when i finally did get it please get it together i try and patronize these small businesses but honestly!🤦🏽‍♀️

Took about a 15 minute drive here to get the Honey Blackened salmon, Mac and yams. The salmon was dry and a little burnt for my liking. I didn’t taste honey. The Mac and cheese was unseasoned and dry as well. The yams were okay but not the best. I don’t have to go back or recommend this place.

I only ordered 2 drinks, a lemonade and ice tea. I sat for over 30 minutes before I had to flag someone down from ANOTHER restaurant and inquire about my drinks. When the drinks finally arrived, they were literally 99% Ice with a few swigs worth of strange tasting lemonade and awful ice tea.

The amount of money I spent on food here on door dash $75. The food was trash. I got the smothered pork chop with yellow rice, Mac n cheese, collards, and honey cornbread. The pork chop looked undone idk where they got the sauce from but all trash not flavorful at all. My husband had the supposed to be whole chicken wings and white rice, Mac n cheese, collards, and honey cornbread. The chicken wings was not whole and they was regular plumped look like on steroids wings. Wings taste burnt. Just over all not good at all. If you need a chef that can cook real soul food holla at me
