another overpriced, greedy charlotte “wine bar”. They got a horrendous health inspection rating so that’s diabolical to be charging as much as you do when you can’t even keep the place clean lol.

They have bugs and expired food!!!Just go somewhere better that actually cares. This place does not.

My girlfriends and I had an exceptional experience at Runway this past weekend. Firstly be aware that the entrance to this establishment is at the rear of the building. The signage was a bit confusing but once found it make sense.the inside was so posh and comfy. Patrick, our waiter was very nice and also provided the drinks. Everything was delicious and well thought out. I would highly recommend!

Happened to come across Runaway and sat at the bar. Patrick provided great service, while also looking after multiple tables on the floor by himself. He greeted everyone walking in while juggling food orders and cocktails. I would come back based on the service alone.

We came in Saturday at noon and had Patrick as our bartender. He was fantastic, he was by himself running around between two group of three, a group of 4 and our group of three. We had several drinks and the cronuts and didn’t wait for very long. He checked on us regularly and had a good attitude. Will be back to try more cocktails and food soon.

What a great spot! We were greeted with an overview of the care that is put into the curation of the cocktails, as well as the food, and great recommendations about how flavors and choices work together. We enjoyed a few excellent cocktails before working through some food options that remain limited in order to provide quality. The Wagyu burger was fantastic. I think the willingness to take on at atmosphere and environment like the Runway has is an effort worth celebrating. I look forward to coming back!
