This guy parks his truck trailer in front of Lowe’s charges you $17 for a Cuban sandwich that isn’t even authentic. I am so disappointed in this place I spent $30 on a sandwich and two drinks and a tip and it was the worst food I’ve ever had in my life, the Cuban sandwich had absolutely very little meat one extremely thin, transparent slice of ham and you couldn’t even taste the pulled pork. It was more like overcooked no flavor and it spread on the bread like butter thin layer I asked for no pickles it was covered in pickles. I said no guacamole and there was all this green stuff all over it and it was not guacamole Reported, I reported them several times. Do yourself a favor and find someplace else to eat. Charlotte Lowe's parking lot. 1100 Chancellor Park Dr 28213.The food is authentic and off the charts with a subtle intertwining of awesome deliciousness.You can not go wrong with anything that you order. Every single order is prepared fresh, right in front of you.The house sauces are all scratchmade, and Chef Rey is phenomenal behind that grill and a fantastic person as well. Both outgoing and gregarious.My personal favorite is the Cubano tortas. Stopped at the food truck in the University City Lowe's parking lot. Food was delicious! The Cuban sandwich was not what I was expecting, but I chose it with chicken and it was beyond delicious. Came with fries.The guava and cheese empanadas were the best! I highly recommend!

I ordered the cuban sandwich w/ fries, the sandwich was amazing to say the least. Very flavorful ingredients, and you can tell that the wonderful lady who prepared it put a lot of love into it.I ordered a Cuban sandwich with fries and I really liked it. Everything was piping hot and fresh, and also very delicious. I would have ordered two more sandwiches, I will definitely return to try more of their dishes and meals.

You ever put a pair of pants on and found money you didn't expect. Thats how it feels when you drive by this half opened Citgo and see this beacon of light that is Sabor al Paladar. If you see it opened it's your lucky day and you must stop and get one of the greatest sandwiches ever made in Charlotte history along with some empanadas.

Great service! Chef Rey was awesome! Food was awesome! Hard to find authentic Cuban food! Highly recommend!

The tamales were absolutely delicious. Authentic Cuban food. Will be looking for more in the future
