The wait service was rude. The drinks are unnecessary pricey for very small drinks with no alcohol and mostly juice. The place is small.

This is a solid attempt to capture the African lounge vibe...however the service and quality leaves a lot to desire

My sister rented a section for her birthday. The owners allowed people to walk through our section even though we paid hundreds of dollars. We were moving and dodging people the whole entire night. We paid over $1000 so we can avoid that and have space and enjoy ourselves. We expressed to them we didn’t find that fair or okay. And they brushed us off plenty of times. We were getting shout out from the DJ because we are originally from CT and the dj knew the area we are from so he shouted us out all night. As he did for the owner. It was the owners bday as well I don’t think they liked we were getting a lot of attention. We were just having a good time with each other. One of the owners with long braids came in our section to just stand around trying to be funny and prove a point.. him and his friends were giving high fives and dapping each other for him coming to stand in our section that we paid for. I have NO idea why they were so petty and rude!! I came and supported a local business and was treated like crap. I’d NEVERRR be an owner and treat someone who is supporting my business like they treated us. The security attacked my sisters boyfriend, they threw liquor at us. It was insane. I heard stories about them dragging women out of their establishment before I even attended that night. this was my first and last time ever attending.!! Maybe I should have took that as a sign; but I thought to myself ; we don’t bother anyone and we will be fine. These people are super rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t suggest attending. My sister birthday was ruined!

0 out of 5 I do not recommend. Their ac broke and it's summertime so I don't think I need to go into further detail about how hot it was in the club. But it was so hot the dj equipment must of burnt out because there was a point where there was no music playing. Ordered a drink and they didn't have the ingredients so I ordered something else and the bartender had the nerve to add her own tip. There was a dead roach in the woman's bathroom and saw another one scurrying away from one of the trash cans onto the empty dance floor. I wish I would have read the reviews before I went but it was spur of the moment. Find you something else to do I'm sure there are plenty of better options.
Parking: Like 10 parking spots, I did see people walking from a good distance to get to the club

Horrible place and false advertising. They posted ladies free all night and everyone free before 12am on Fridays but charged us $40 at the door at 11pm.

We went to the club on Google it said the club close at 4. We walked up to the door the guy that was at the door said the club close at 430 but yet he was letting some females in the same time he told me that. If it’s VIP at a certain hour post that on the description if not false advertisement. Atlanta Africans would never!!
This is the worst club ever, I’ve been here before , this was my first time this year coming back to this club so I thought I’d go back tonight June 1st 2024: Arrived at 9:30 pm got parked , was sitting in the car . And all of a sudden the door man with dreads starts walking towards my car , taps on the window, He told me aggressively to move out his parking spot .He jumps back in his car and He let down his window and gave me the death stare and proceeded to walk back up to my car once again , Demanding I move ! He said if I don’t move out of his parking spot , then you can’t get in the club . He kept going toe to toe with me and I’m a female. I thought he was gonna get physical. I didn’t get a chance to even go in . Not to mention I drove 50 minutes just to get Safari club. And was told to leave the parking lot and not come back . So I did just that . I’m not ever coming back . There loss not mine . This club will continue to lose more people . No wonder it’s free entry and free parking no where to park and the drinks are expensive. Parking sucks ! Money hungry owner of this club will get his KARMA and his door men will get their KARMA AS well . GOTTA BE CARFUL HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE . * beware do not come to this club !!! Very unprofessional!! Bad attitudes . !! ????????????

Was me and my husband’s first time going club was really nice we were celebrating my husband’s birthday one of the guys that worked there had been targeting my husband since we walked in my husband was dancing just having fun and he kept picking with him saying he stepping on him when he was standing right behind the dance floor so are people not allowed to dance and have fun he then started a fight with my husband because he said he stepped on him again that’s when wife had to speak up this behavior is terrible and I wouldn’t recommend this club can we all just have a good time I want be back don’t step on the guy with dreads he may try to fight you smh disrespectful also the parking was horrible you have to pay $40 to park in this small club because there not much room to park and everyone has all the parking spaces full also how was I charged $20 a piece when I was there before 11 but your flyer says free before 11 this is terrible and needs to be addressed smh the bar tender was great the guy I hope you liked your tip

This place has changed for the worst
Parking is $40 for one and the parking lot is small. Cover charge is $20 ( expected price )and hookahs are 75$ . Why i don’t know especially being that I didn’t get my coals changed at all the whole night. That’s probably the most expensive hookah I've had in clt . I also thought it closed at 4am but they close at 2:30am they really should update the time online. The reason I chose this lounge was because it says they close at 4am.Aside from that the section area was extremely tight and it’s hard to get through. They have tables to sit at that are free and a bar. I’m not a drinker, so I’m sure my judgment of what I observed is very accurate. Also, the music is okay , I didn’t really hear anything that excited me . They have a mix of some American music, but also Afro music. It’s better lounges in Charlotte to check out.

I barely write reviews, I can’t imagine what happened to me here!!! I’m from Atlanta meaning I’m not unfamiliar with paying a cover charge. But I literally got robbed here lol.. I was under the impression that it’s an after hour spot and it closes at 4am. I got here at 215am, they charged me $30 cover fee, I went straight to the bar to and ordered a drink, just for the waitress to tell me we no longer serving drinks, at that point I went to the door and requested my cover charged back starting that the bar is closed, just for her to say we don’t do refund! Like I honestly haven’t been in there for 2min, I just left. It’s literally not abt the money, it’s the principle. You don’t keep someone’s money when you know you not providing any service. She should have said, hey our bar closes in 15min. But she never said that. Meaning she knew but just wanted to make quick money and don’t care about their customers. Wrong is wrong, it’s not right. That’s not how you do business. Anyways, I’ll never visit this establishment again. I’ll tell everyone who cares to listen to stay away from low class places like this one.

There is a food truck parking is horrible.. door man charging $30 saying they are only open for 30 more minutes that is ridiculous!
No no no no no. This is the first review I've ever given on here, but all my reviews have to have complete honesty when I write them. It is advertised on their site, as well as other places that on Saturdays they are open until 4am. I even tried to reserve seating in advanced based on researching this place and suggestion of their site due to crowding. Never got contacted back. We were going to celebrate my friend's birthday. We were not aware when going in that the entry is $30 EACH. Not only that, as soon as we bit the bullet and paid, the DJ announces the club was closing at 2:30am!!! Of course we go back to the woman up front for a refund, because we were not informed upon entry, and that's not what was advertised! Of course my friend was refused a refund. We bit the bullet and just proceeded in. I will say, the ambience IS NICE! But then we went to go get my friend a drink at least to calm her down. She wanted a red bull and vodka. When the bartender told me the price I was mentally tapped out and wanted to leave. $18?? Listen, I've been to many states and even lived oversees, that particular drink I've never had to pay that much for! Im used to paying high prices for drinks sometimes, but that was wild to me for THAT. Now, there was an automatic 18% gratuity with that. I'm not tripping about that because hey, at least the bartender is ensured a tip one way or another and they DESERVE TIPS. But after that drink we left. Wasted $50 bucks just to be in there for not even 15 min. I'll try this place again earlier at night next time to give a fair shot because I definitely want to go during food serving times. The menu looked tasty. But THIS experience was definitely complete dissatisfaction.
