We’ve been picking up from Sal’s several times the past couple of months. We drive around 20-25 minutes. The Stromboli and selection of pizzas are worth it. We lived in Philadelphia and had lots of great pizza places there…this is as close to great northern pizza around the area and we’ve been here 32 years.
So this plae5 was fantastic when the. First opened prior to Covid. We haven't been here since covid, and I figured we'd get back to it. I honestly think we would have had a better experience at Taco Bell. There are 3 kinds of baked cities on the menu. One is called Sicilian, one is with eggplant and one it regular. We'll my wife ordered the Sicilian, which is filled with eggplant. Management said the Sicilian has eggplant in it!? Awful..... and let's not forget the service. HORRIBLE in every way possibly imaginable. If the original owner is still here... he's dropped off big time. If this once great place is under new ownership, consider selling hotdogs from a push cart....and to anyone looking for great food and a nice dining experience....THIS IS NOT the place.

I had read reviews stating the sauce was on the sweeter side which I prefer, but it was not. The pizza was super greasy as well as the floors in the establishment. Customer service was good, but my husband and I agreed that we won’t be returning.

The pizza in Charlotte. Solid New York, slight nod to tavern style, pizza that is consistently fantastic. It's heavy, hearty stuff, just try it. The negative reviews are either one off bads (very difficult to imagine), Karens, or people disappointed that this doesn't taste just like the pizza their uncle made back in New York.
If you like pizza, you'll love this.

We are a local podcast and have been coming here for quite some time before we start recording but the past few experiences have been terrible. We always done in and our order has been accidentally placed to go. I went to check what was taking so long and our food was now cold. The young man was hesitant to give it to us but was told to give it to us anyway. We've placed an order and only partial of the order was put in. Same thing happened tonight. Had one person ask if we were ready but apparently the cashier wasn't ready to process the order. No apologies, no refund, no credits, no attempt to resolve anything. Won't be returning.
